  1. I don't hate anyone in the PL but the club I dislike the most is Manchester United. The club, players and supporters have an arrogance and a sense of entitlement that is staggering at times. It's the players I dislike there. For example Pogba couldn't care less which club badge is on his shirt as long as the hundreds of thousands of pounds a week keep rolling into his bank account. Wages paid for mostly mediocre displays. Fred who must surely be a contender for worse midfielder in the PL and Maguire who has a face and attitude only his mother could love. I dislike them but I enjoy watching them because no matter who the manager is they play like a bunch of pub standard misfits. Long may that continue.
  2. That's the way it works if you want to lift a trophy.
  3. Man City haven't beaten us in the 2 Prem fixtures this season so I am feeling quietly confident. I would be more concerned if we had been drawn away to Middlesborough. If we want to win a trophy we have to play the top teams. Although last night's selection wasn't so bad in the end I hope Ralph picks our very best for the City game. We may have been able to take time to get our act together against the likes of West Ham last night but I don't think we should push our luck against City.
  4. I hope Man City and Liverpool play each other in the next round. Like some others on here I had a look at the line-up and thought we would struggle. Still not a fan of Willy and I mean the goalie!!! 😜
  5. Yes. I hope those going to the game will make their feelings felt every time Zouma has the ball.
  6. Perhaps I have been a Saints fan for so long that I am numbed to the pain. It has been a roller-coaster ride over the years so at the moment it is nice not having to wait for the bottom half of the Premier League table to be shown to see where Saints are. A lot on here may disagree with me and that's fine, but I am happy with Saints the way they are. I know that Champions League football will never be ours but when I look at the supposedly Big 6 clubs, I don't wish we were amongst them. On the whole they look to be unhappy clubs with players not performing, dressing room disputes, prima donnas by the bucket load etc. When I look at our team at the moment I see a bunch of lads who are enjoying their football, playing for each other, for Ralph and the fans and I don't find much wrong with that.
  7. That videprinter was so slow and you were desperate to see what it was typing. My Dad would be glued to the final scores and if Saints lost he would go to bed. Had a lot of early nights, my Dad. 😁
  8. NEVER any good? I seem to remember Saints ending Everton's unbeaten run in the 20/21 season.
  9. They have always been the same. I thought there was supposed to be Respect for referees (excluding Mike Dean, of course) so it's about time they started waving yellow and red cards for persistent moaners of which there are plenty at Old Trafford.
  10. I wasn't aware that Mike Dean was moonlighting as an editor on MOTD.
  11. He should know. His team hasn't managed to beat us home or away this season.
  12. Good to see the doom and gloom experts who predicted our form would fall off a cliff with Ralph mentioning retirement at the end of the 2024 season were spot on. 😂
  13. Why all the panic? 2024 is a while away yet. He only needs to have a bad run of results then fans will be wanting him gone before then. Saints are not famous for keeping managers for decades. I think in Rupert Lowe's 10 years at the club we had 10 managers. Some good, some still giving me nightmares. Someone will come along in the way all the others have. Ralph is not indispensable.
  14. Porridge FC.
  15. You can add Mason Greenwood to that list. Hope they lock him up with Mendy and throw away the key. Scumbags, both of them.
  16. I won't mind if it is Ralph's new vision. I want teams to feel intimidated by us rather than us roll over when the going gets tough. The prima donnas need putting in their place.
  17. Well that's given me a good laugh, 'pinching and twisting my skin'. 😂 Perhaps he should take up netball instead. He's another one who thinks he's a legend because Pep was daft enough to cough up £100m on him. Good for Romeu that he didn't react to a jessy with a hairband.
  18. Good for Romeu not reacting to Grealish, a big girls blouse with a hairband.
  19. One plus is that Mike Dean is nowhere near this game. Not on the pitch or VAR.
  20. Very few teams to touch City at the moment but let's give it all we've got. Hopefully a few free kicks might do the trick. 🤞
  21. There are some very illustrious footballers in the most free kicks list. JWP only has 7 more to go to overtake Beckham. I thought yesterdays goal was one of his best, given the distance and curl. I would love to see JWP reach the top because it would be a hard record to break.
  22. Football fans are a fickle bunch. We soon run out of patience when players/owners/managers do something we don't like. As Koolman says there were some scathing posts about JWP quite recently but he has been MOTM in his recent games and is going through a good patch at the moment. However, he will have a dip in form at some stage in the future and we will be back to wanting to show him the door. Enjoy it while it lasts.
  23. I hold my hands up and admit I have not been very complimentary about Shane Long on here. I was just getting over the shock that he assisted Elyounoussi's goal when he scored what turned out to be the winner!
  24. Harry Maguire. Thinks he is God's gift, remember his Greek holiday bust-up and 'don't you know who I am?' to police. Full of himself because he's captain of a crappy team who paid a stupid amount of money for him. A legend in his own mind. Everlasting coming out on post-match interviews and saying how he must do better, have a look at himself...............Yeah, yeah. Can't abide him.
  25. Jeez. They must be desperate. 😂
