Divergent’s post highlights so many other similar tales of woe already this season over tickets, one where the club needed to do everything to entice out-of-the-habit fans back (not forgetting the poor home form for a few years now). Regulars have been watching free streams for the past 18 months, and still can of course, some will find that’s preferable to continue rather than the effort and expense of getting into the ground.

I've been watching some of these recently, brings back a few good memories of the era I remember fondly. They've been doing 1974-75 recently, it was a time that Man Utd were taking over just about every ground they went to. Last week they were away to Sheff Wed, supposedly a 'big' club but it was like a home game for United. It was the same when United played Leeds in the FA Cup semi at HIllsborough, other than a small section of Leeds in one corner at one end, it was mostly all mancs. There's also been MIllwall v skates, they love us really, they even played in red shirts with white stripes. It also appeared not a single skate in the ground, must have all been busy that day.

Personally I can't understand why anyone would hold a grudge for Danny Ings. I'm happy to have seen him play for SFC, excellent player, and that night and goal celebration in front of the portsea island fookwits gives him freedom of the city in my books.

I'd put KWP's value in excess of £20m, think he's only going to get better, and can only hope a seed hasn't been sown for January/next summer. But I would think and accept that he will move on to bigger things eventually.

And I’d imagine they’d have kept a bit in the tank for the January window in case we’re desperate.

Hopefully...Levy thinks he’s playing games with City and spending the Kane money before letting them have him at the last minute - but then City tell them to fookin’ keep him. In an ideal world.

It was inevitable once the big boys installed rail-seating before the start of the season, they had probably pushed for it and been tipped off it was imminent. Wolves already had it, but now that most of the Big-6, (Man U, City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham) have recently put them in, it's opened the door. Hopefully SFC have some spare cash to implement it.

Make the Chapel safe-standing and the new much desired ‘home’ end and rename it so the fans using it don’t mistake it for a place of rest...

Reckon the TV cameraman was a disgruntled Geordie, a thousand Saints fans celebrating Prowsey's pen and all they manage to get is a bunch of grey seats and a sprinkling of the fans. Travesty had we lost that.

Good sustainable strategy, I wonder if the fans will be so understanding when they’re sold on once successful? There is a poster on here who’s nephew is an Everton youngster just breaking into the first team, maybe he’ll give an insight soon.

I wouldn’t think you’re too far off that line-up other than possibly Broja - at least off the bench. He’s more than ready by all accounts and Chelsea haven’t sent him down here to not get game time. Ideal opportunity for all.
