  1. Bet its not the first time either of those two "ladies" have been smashed about the ring.... I'm here all week....
  2. Watch what you say to the "bummers", I mean, "sexually challenged" http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/9370655.Police_wants_Saints_fans__help_to_beat_homophobes/
  3. I imagine we may go back in for one of our summer targets... Baldock, has gone to WHU Sharpe will stay at Donny, or if he leaves, he will go to Ipswich. IMHO. Sordell Maynard Rodrigues As for center backs, god knows, our targets in this area weren't reported as much as our targets up front.. Gorkss has gone to Reading. Um...
  4. Can (sort of) echo what others have said on here. My wife had it done at Optical Express in West Quay, she say its the best thing she has ever done. now has brilliant vision and wish she had done it earlier. word of warning though, the adverts on TV say from £500 per eye, remember the "FROM" bit as hers cost £1500 per eye. She is still happy that she spent the £3k though (gets to see my handsome face in total clarity!!!)
  5. Hello, Going up to London on Sunday for the Remembrance Sunday ceremony at the cenotaph. Normally, when going to London, I would park at Richmond or Morden and get the tube, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any free parking closer to central London. Have to be at Whitehall for 10am and plan to spend the day up there. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks
  6. I still refer to SMS as The Dell, everyone knows what you are talking about.
  7. Why has it been deleted then, if it was true they should have no problem printing it.
  8. Your post doesn't make any sense at all !!! I think you have me confused with someone else. Where have I moaned about the echo getting stories off of forums, please show me an example. can you also re read the bit in bold and explain yourself further, other than it not making sense, I have never done this, are you sure you have the right person. Jeez, sometimes you just have to use your brain, put your hands up and say "fair enough, i f*cked right up there and confused Marsdinho with someone else and wrote a rather poorly worded post on a saints forum" FWIW, this is the bit that i think is cr*p "You see my opposite numbers at the Southampton Echo have been banned from St Mary’s for the last 18 months and have to cobble their home match reports together from listening to local radio commentary and by sneaking a spy into the stands." The journalist also deleted the section where it said that the echo had to buy an anonymous season ticket and go undercover as NC had instructed stewards to throw them out.
  9. More cr*p from the press... http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/coventry-city-fc/coventry-city-fc-news/2011/11/09/andy-turner-why-the-press-and-football-clubs-must-work-together-92746-29745295/?
  10. Please don't patronise me, we could all post pictures to illustrate our point of view. Why don't you put "civilian deaths in Iraq" or "civilian deaths in Afghanistan" into Google images.
  11. St Paul's was seen as an symbol of our defiance against the German bombing campaign, the Germans thought that if they flattened St Paul's it would have dealt a massive blow to Britain's morale. Churchill knew this as well, so it was protected at all costs. Obviously, a direct hit would have wiped it out, but an incendiary bombs or nearby fires were quickly dealt with. At one point an incendiary bomb landed on the roof and a (very brave) fire warden climbed up to try and retrieve it !!! Luckily it fell out of the roof and on to the streets below. John Boy Saint - I'm particularly interested in WW2 and have visited many sites associated with it, next year I plan to go to Auschwitz and see it for myself.
  12. Some amazing photo's there. I must admit, the series entitled "The Holocaust" is particularly difficult to view. http://www.theatlantic.com/infocus/ww2.html
  13. This. Personally, I don't think people that sign up to a "war" that we have absolutely no reason to be involved in, should be classed as heroes. The real heroes didn't have a choice, they signed up because it was the calling of their generation, when we were the good guys, fighting an evil dictator hell bent on world domination Which is why I wear a poppy and not a Help For Heroes wrist band.
  14. Update: http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/LatestNews/news/Pompey-v-Southampton-Travel-Advisory-2777.aspx?
  15. I think Panda was referring to the fact that the OP uses the slip roads to get into and out of the service station.
  16. F**k me, we have just won out 19th home game in a row and all the bed wetters can do is moan about a 10 min song.
  17. Yeah, he's obviously going to be diplomatic, but i can see him being wanted back up in Scotland as soon as the loan runs out.
  18. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/7284859/? We need to get Hooiveld on the bus permanently asap. With his form (and Celtic's poor form) I could well see him being recalled by Lennon. I was hoping that he was a "celtic reject" and wanted to turn his back on life north of the boarder and would be happy to set roots in Hampshire. However, it seems that come January he could well be off. Bad news, he has been great the last few games. We need a song for him.
  19. Watch the video at the bottom. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/3904484/Petrolul-Ploiesti-v-Steaua-Bucharest-Fan-punches-player.html
  20. Saw them last year at Wembley Arena (would have preferred a smaller venue), they were f*ck1ng brilliant. I think they may be doing a FOTC film.
  21. What if you have a massive ****
  22. Man Utd converted him to midfield, guess he has been in that position too long to be considered for a forward role.
  23. Shame, he was going to be my favourite player in a few years time, might have to rethink that http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/9328132.Why_teenager_James_ditched_Pompey_for_Saints/
  24. http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/transfer-news/Newcastle-transfer-gossip-Alan-Smith-available-on-loan-as-he-enters-final-months-of-contract-article821250.html I know he's played midfield for the last few years, but could be a good option as cover for Ricky. Wages could be high, and I guess he wants first team football. CHDAJFU Thoughts?
  25. Haha, quite a lot considering that 100% of its players will be from england.!!! Scotland and Wales don't want to release their players for the GB team as they think they may lose their status as an independent footballing nation (despite reassurances from FIFA that this won't happen) yet they would be happy to milk the financial benefits of having their teams play in England. Now do you understand?
