Have you guys seen the Alternative Premier League Table (APLT) from the Liverpool supporters forum, Red And White Kop (RAWK) ?? Look it up. Basically it tracks Liverpool's relative position in the league versuses the "other" big teams by taking into consideration their results against the other teams. I don't totally understand it because they use below par, par and above par scoring system. It seems popular as it returns year on year. Although some of their fans seem to rubbish it preferring the actual table. Anyway, reminded me of this thread.

Annoying result. We were so far ahead of them that the away end started the Ole's halfway through the first half. Sadly, I was screaming at the wastefulness and general lack of urgency. I am putting this down to tiredness. We definitely seemed to lack 10% from the off. Fair play to Hull. They will need more results like that to go their way in order to stay in the division. They defended as if their lives depended on it. A nice little break from football now as I stopped watching internationals a couple of years ago.

Obviously the above is written very tongue-in-cheek but I was listening to the radio the other day where they were discussing Wenger's retirement. It did make me consider who they would go for and it's no coincidence that the press have made the connection between Wenger and Puel. If he does exceptionally well at Saints I am sure Wenger would be putting a word in at the Arse re his student. However, if this were to happen it would mean Saints had been successful and we would march on and perform another reincarnation, hopefully :-)

Well there was always going to be a reaction. I read somewhere that Sky subs were down 18% last year. So what are the options? I currently don't use any form of VPN to protect my IP from being detected. Am thinking about doing this now not only to prolong my sub to sportsmania but also to avoid my ISP from cutting me off. I guess this might force the pricing down of streamed content in the same way Spotify and others work. However, I think the clever streaming people will find a solution. Where there is a will there is a way !

As a poster who remembers when the Internet started, circa 1994 I recall joining the Saintslist on yahoo groups via our Uni Unix computers. I then remember discovering the first forum SaintsForever and signing up. Some golden threads as has already been mentioned. I then remember the Big Bang and having to create an account for this forum. My post count is extremely low by some standards but I've still found myself visiting this site almost daily. Ridiculous way to spend your life if you think about it too long.

The one barometer people seem to of overlooked is Romeu's acceptentence by the faithful in the stands. Several times on Sunday his name rang out loud and clear. As good an indicator as any that he is being fully backed and appreciated. After years and years wishing we'd get another Jimmy Case, we've been absolutely blessed with Morgan, Big Vic and now Romeu. Just wish JWP or Reed would make the step up and then we'd have a homegrown talent in the middle of the park.
