I remember an undercover copper, seemingly on his own amongst the saints fans, shouted "West Midlands Police" got his warrant card out and tried to arrest a Saints fan for throwing snowballs (to be fair to the copper, the fan in question was using the snowballs to smash up a greenhouse in one of the gardens behind The Hawthorns). The saints fan just ran away, if I remember correctly.
