Yup agree with all you said there,strange how we seem so turgid and boring to watch all season long so far.Wow if it wasnt for the tremendous support the Toon army gave thier team youd ave thought we were playing behind closed doors today.The lack of direction or the total lack of urgency the damn team displays is so demoralising for us as fans we start to get excited when we move forward on a counter attack!............Yoshida and VVD dunno are they instructed to play with no forward movement? Plus theres no pressing the ball or ANY movement to create an opening.Im not too sure if it was a penalty but glad to get one and like you was wishing the final whistle sooner rather than later.

Well put James ........Long is no out and out striker so why play him as one .What we really miss is Tadic playing left wing ,Redmond or Bouffal right and a big target man thats missing(Pelle) to hold up finish or create chances for others around.Whats annoying is build up play is so predictable fast counter till about half way towards the goal slow it down put a foot on it and start again.Wow frustrates the fkcu outta me and many others to boot. As soon as we go a goal down were in the sthi.So many posters that are well established on here think other posters thier opinions dont matter,hell im no Long fan so why play him instead of one of our club record signings in recent seasons?................dunno either and he scored 2 agianst them in a bigger match than this one.Our fixtures we started with were a dream now we have to pick up or we get into a relegation frame of mind .Wake up forum were in the siht.

Hey im as passionate a Saints fan as you get.Being a fan since 1965 when my uncles took me Saints one week Basingstoke the next thats how it was im not convinced with the depth of our squad either. We needed to hit the ground running and as yet ive not seen anything that suggests we have a new manager and a new sense of being any different than what passed as football last season. Our run in this season is very very tough and if were in the mire with 6-7 games left then its squeeky bum time .We now have to hope Januarys transferes are what we need .Lets face it VVD is off to play champions league football with who ever and then the big question lies will we still have the same desire to win.

What i cant seem to grasp is they have these flip charts to tell players where to play etc.....................we were 2-0 down and Watsons flicking over paperwork for what did he loose the picture with the GOAL on it..............jesus just get the ball i nthe net no need for fkcuing directions as to look at this .....fm why were 2-0 down score a fuoking goal.
