He's 21, and assuming he's got good potential and the right attitude he's probably worth the gamble, though it's a lot of money, and he doesn't look like he's going to walk into our side right now. Is he any better than Reed? Not sure...

Lets be honest, if he struggles to get in the Celtic side, it's unlikely he's ready to be starting in the premier league. Scottish league is Championship level at best

And Guly, who started the first match at City up top. Met him out in Sheffield after we got knocked out the cup up there, and he couldn't believe he was shipped out on loan while Mane was brought in. I think he had a lot of frustration towards the club at the time..safe to say he got that one wrong, despite Mane being absolutely useless in that game.

I don’t think that’s the priority from that position personally. We’re already going to play with two strikers and two “inside forwards / #10s” and we have Prowsey who pops up with the odd goal. This player just needs to be able to win headers, read the game, focus on interceptions, have good awareness and break up the game. Basically Hojbjerg. Goals are a bonus.

I think he will become a top player, and I think the fee is at the bottom end of what I'd expect, but I understand why. More difficult to drive the price up when we want KWP and he only wants to go there. Good luck to him.

Understandable. A relatively cheap player who is captain of another prem club, just turned 25, in a position that they need reinforcements. I think they’ve got a good deal there, and he will improve their side. still don’t think they’ll do anything over the next few years though, and surely Kane will be off soon.

Was reported in the telegraph weeks ago. Maybe we’re wanting to announce it all at the same time but would seem odd. They normally drag these things out for days on end.

He did say they valued him at £25m and then another tweet said they'd met the valuation...wrong assumption. This its a shame we haven't got more for him, especially if its addon based
