Wouldn't be surprised if we change up the formation for this one, 4-2-2-2 would be a bit dangerous I think. Their defence, you can get at it definitely. I'd be looking to camp on the edge of our box and try and hit them on the break, despite their constant tactical fouling. Despite Vestergaard excellent performance yesterday, I worry about him against quicker strikers. Can see us going something like... McCarthy; KWP Bednarek Stephens Bertrand; Romeu; Armstrong Smallbone JWP Redmond; Ings Or possibly with the extra man at the back and going 5-4-1. Could Djenepo make an impact off the bench?

Although I take your point in that he's not going to walk into a top side, but he's clearly got talent, works his arse off, and is a leader. I think we forget he's still only 24, and has played over 150 top flight games. I like Smallbone, but he's not ready yet to sit and replace Hojbjerg in CM, and it's good him to be eased in like Prowsey has been over the years. Who knows...if we can't get the money we want for him, and he can't get a move to one of the "big boys", then he might end up staying and signing a new contract, especially if we manage to sneak into the top half this season. I certainly wouldn't be upset about that. If he does go, then I'll be urging him to succeed and fulfill his dreams. Whether he is good enough, that remains to be seen.

Hopefully Pierre is fit. I’d start Long for Obafemi and KWP for Valery, Vestergaard for Stephens, if no Pierre, then Romeu next to JWP.

I think they’ll stay up, they’ll get Haller back in the side, and they’ll have enough IMO. They still have to play: Chelsea, Burnley, Newcastle, Norwich, Watford, Man Utd and Villa....they probably need 3 wins. And Bournemouth are shite.

Beat them and we should finish above them given their remaining fixtures....be nice to get a win and then we can just enjoy the rest of the season and bed in a few of the kids.

Yes!!! Seems incredibly unstable at the moment. That game was absolutely appalling, as was that decision. Looked like a pre season game, where no-one is playing at full pace. Lets see what this Arsenal City game is like....it's raining so maybe that might wake them up a bit.

He'll be a miss for us definitely when he goes, but I'm hoping we recruit someone who can fill his void. My bigger issue is that we lose a leader, and we don't have a huge number of those in our club.
