Is it not more that it's very difficult to bring youth players into a Prem squad How many of the above listed came through in the Prem? Just Shaw & Chambers? Agree that we should be bringing more through than currently, but lets be fair...Targett, Hesketh, Gallagher, Sims, McQueen, Reed are all on the fringes and could probably do a job as squad players at a minimum in the Prem... JWP and Stephens playing regularly in the prem - not that bad.

The league has been dreadful this season, just look at Everton, Leicester, and Palace who have been largely crap all year. There's so much dross in the league (including us this year!)

Because some are out of contract and others simply not good enough Forster - not good enough, high wages, not needed Stephens - not good enough Gardos - contract Pied - contract Targett - surplus with McQueen (maybe you'll see him go to Fulham or us to keep him with McQueen loaned out) Clasie - surplus Davis - not good enough but possibly keep as he's a leader and seems a good bloke and been here years Reed - Like him, but probably needs to go and play - not going to get games for us. Boufal - sh!thouse Austin - not good / fit enough. Gabbiadini - Barely played this season, and doesn't seem to fit in with style - expect him to return to Italy. Carrillo - sh!t and a waste of money Don't think that lot are unrealistic. We currently have a bloated squad of average players which we need to replace with some quality. Think one of them atleast needs to move on, I'd be tempted to move Stephens and possibly Yoshida on, and get 2 in alongside Bednarek & Hoedt.

Yes- because Stephens is largely terrible, not good enough for the premier league at the moment. - Can't tackle - Can't head - Doesn't track his man very often - Poor distribution Stones is decent, younger than Stephens, however I agree they should have bought VVD as Kompany's long term replacement.

Got to be Hughes. We’re not suddenly going to go all out and eat a top manager with 1. Our squad, and 2. Our philosophy (stepping stone). If Hughes gives us 2/3 years of mid table solidarity then happy days IMO.

He is however only 26 years old now. Would be interesting to see how he would get on in the Prem.

Don't think the home shirt can be, as I'm pretty sure we can't have a striped back anymore? Black one is lovely. Would like to see a yellow option in there rather than the blue one though personally.

Hughes has first of all got the fans back on-side and got them believing again. It's going to be a very important summer, but he has to stay. With the right signings there is a no reason why we cant finish top 10 next season under him.
