Always thought he will stay, and will leave the following summer. Would be nice...the guy has only just signed a 6 year deal, has been injured for half the season, and has just been made captain.

Why not just play a midfield/fwds of ----------Romeu Hojbjerg Redmond----Davis -----Tadic ------------Gabbiadini You could probably swap Boufal in for either Tadic or Redmond, and JWP in for Davis, Clasie in for Hojbjerg, (however if Hojbjerg is seen as a future first teamer then we need to stick with him and give him game time, especially at this point in the season where games are basically pointless. Playing Davis as a DM IMO is ridiculous, and just leaves Romeu basically playing in CM on his own.

Isn't Sam Cunningham just a national journo who concentrates on us along with Alex Crook!?

However Redmond is considerably better, younger, bigger potential and not injury prone. Been one of our best players this season IMO, especially our best player in the second half of the season for me. If Austin could get fit, stay fit and get in the team most weeks then there is £15m in there for him, but unfortunately for him, he can't. Opinions are opinions though.

Yep agree, so I would say my valuation of about £300m is about right.

Although you could argue that for Saints his value is far less as he doesn't play much and when he does he gives the ball away in very dangerous positions. It's all completely subjective anyway.

Certainly was...few obvious points - Saturday 3pm - Easy to get to and not hugely expensive by train) - We don't seem to have played much recently - Great weather - Winning. All factors in an improved atmosphere, didn't really stop Saturday - thought it was very good indeed.

TBF, based on the last few seasons, it's likely we'll let him go if there is interest. Hopefully we can keep him for another year atleast with Virgil. Nextr season the base of: Forster/New Cedric Virgil NEW Bertrand Romeu Hojbjerg/NEW JWP Tadic Redmond Gabbiadini Starts looking a really strong squad. Can see a bit of surgery this summer with a few leaving, e.g. Long, JRod, Clasie, Martina, but should have a pretty strong squad next year if we can keep the main group together and buildwith a few.

He certainly hasn't had the impact people were expecting him to have after seeing him the first few times. Clasie seems to have disappeared too.

Yes been a difficult league season this year, however quick mention to this chap. Having a great season and has improved a huge amount this season. Wasn't much between him and Martina last season (in fact Martina was Koeman's preferred choice) however Cedric is a huge distance ahead of him now. Improved a lot defensively, bulked up too which helps. Hopefully we'll be able to keep hold of him in the summer, as he is certainly one who seems to be continually linked away (City/Barca)

I'd be tempted to try and get Zouma and Ake if possible. we'd be sorted straight away for next season.
