Long wouldn't be much of a miss either. Wouldn't be awful going into next season with Gabbiadini, Austin, Gallagher, +1 first choice striker. Need 2 CB's at least, possible 3 if VVD goes. Get rid of Gardos too, he's ****e. Certainly going to see abit of movement in the window. Guess it also depends what league we're in...!

Will say a lot if he cant play in this team if he cant get picked ahead of Bertrand or Stephens. FWIW, I don't rate Gardos at all. Think we hugely over paid for him at £6m. Would love to be wrong though.

I wouldn't.... Cedric > Meyler Stephens Yoshida Bertrand > Robertson Would argue not a lot between Bertrand and Robertson.....

Yep - I think this is our only option. Which leaves us with no danger from left full back as McQueen doesn't ever get past the full back like Bertrand does. Very frustrating times.

I've just kinda of assumed that he's going to sign....it's nearly 10pm and nothing - worrying. Absolute shocker if we don't sign a CB...what an amazing opportunity to win a trophy and could be going into the final with Stephens and Yoshida at the back.

Agree - be interesting to see where he fits in, and also where Puel sees Boufal fitting in. I know Redmond has had a bit of an up and down season so far, but we don't have another player who can run at players like Redmond. I would expect Gabbiadini to play through the middle, atleast until Austin is back fit.
