It plausible as a plan B, however if I was picking it would be Davis in for Wanyama and Cork and Morgan in DM. Wholeheartedly agree with the comment that he is a great ambassador for the club. You can see why he was given the captains armband, despite him not really being stereotypically 'captain material'. Speaks well, isn't an arrogant to55er. Credit to the club. Our players always seem to have had good training in regards to interviews etc. JWP, Shaw, Lallana, Chambers all speak very well.

Surely there is no reason why they can't both play and have free roles in attack, they just need to have positions when we defend,

Any other saints going ?
-
No I did.... Apart from we didn't bring anyone in in January which has hurt us, and our only mobile striker is out on loan winning Championships!

EPL´s most clinical strikers, Cole Chamakh and Rodriguez...
Saint Garrett replied to Olallana's topic in The Saints
He seems to get a decent chance from about 15 yards which he quite regularly just rolls to the keeper. Don't get me wrong, I think hes had a great season, but I certainly wouldn't class him as "clinical"! -
Wrong thread.

Depends how you define a "clear cut chance" JRod almost misses one sitter a game. -
He doesn't have the natural ability to be the next Yaya or Vieira.

Lallana won't go anywhere. Can see Luke going for £30m. All comes down to the owner and manager situations at the end of the day. If Katherina wants to carry on pushing the club forward and Poch stays, the I can see is spending another £30m plus anythig we bring in.

Walker and Jagielka both out, Caulker has been struggling with a knock too apparently.

Should MP drop Lambert for the Palace game!

Id be tempted to maybe give JWP a start, got a better delivery that Rickie might thrive upon. -
Not sure Ba would be a very good fit tbh. Im not sure we'll get anyone from the Prem tbh. Doesn't seem our style.

Would like to see the Argentina and Nigeria in red and white if anyone has the capabilities.......The9?

He took a few, Gerrard was flying in on him at times.

Anyone else going. Would like to see Adam and Luke playing in the "first XI" as I'm sure there will be two teams pretty much, and the second half of these games is always very stop start. I would start with: Hart; Walker Cahill Smalling Shaw; Gerrard Wilshere; Chamberlain Rooney Lallana; Sturridge Anyone else going? I'm heading up at lunchtime hopefully be a few other Saints in attendance!

What's his address ?

I'm in London then anyway so might go. Thing is, being 25 the majority I probably wouldn't recognise in the street!!
-
Thought he couldn't play? Or did he sign permanently in January?
-
Might be a game where we need another offensive player in if we boss it and are trying to break them down? Might be one for Gaston to start instead of Davis, I just worry we really miss Davis when he's not in there. Lambert rested? Maybe. Really short of options up top though. Think I'd start with Boruc; Clyne Fonte Lovren Shaw; Cork Morgan; Lallana Davis JRod; Lambert. See how it goes and possibly bring in Gaston if we can't break them down. Will be a very tough game and they have a lot of pace down the wings. I really want another away day win. COYS!!!

It's not match sharpness, he's massively overweight.
-
But he's not really that no 10 is he. That's Lallana for us, and he is everywhere. Davis normally plays on the right but our midfield are so fluid it doesn't really matter.

Goals in the league from midfield this season
Saint Garrett replied to doddisalegend's topic in The Saints
Why does Lallana not count as a midfielder or is it just because he doesn't fit with your argument? I know our CM don't score many but if you're including the 3 attacking midfield positions then you have to include Jrod and Lallana along with Davis and Gaston. With 3 "attacking" players the others don't get that much of a chance to score...although they probably should have the odd goal more than what they have. -
Seasons done anyway.
