Summer 2012 HCDAJFU Thread - Premier League Special Edition

Huddlestone would be a fantastic player for us. Not much chance of getting him however. -
Is it just me, or did the way Spain play remind you of anyone...?

How the hell an any true football fan find Spain boring to watch ? They are magnificent to watch, the ball control, the team ethics, the pinpoint passing it's brilliant. England will never be as exciting as them to watch as we cant keep the ball for longer thatn 1 minute. -

LOL!!! http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/power-is-with-pompey-fans-1-4010159 Npower have pledged to validate Fanpower Stadium voting after Southampton fans attempted to influence the result. Pompey supporters have reacted with anger after the proposal for a statue became the favourite ahead of today’s midnight closing date. Fans have been voting for one of three choices on offer as they look to spend the £30,000 won by Blues followers in the npower competition. These include free tickets to local schools for matches, improved disabled facilities at Fratton Park or a statue in honour of the fans. The statue idea – involving fans drawing up a design to provide a lasting testimony to their support – has been the long-time leader. Although it has since emerged a large number of Southampton supporters have been casting their votes via Facebook. The sheer numbers pledged by non-Pompey fans have persuaded npower to step in. They have now promised to validate the final totals – discounting the selections of rival fans – once voting has closed. In addition, as well as being able to vote via Facebook, the Fratton faithful can also send their choice direct to the club, who will then pass on the results. Other choices include the distribution of free match-day tickets to local schools through the Pompey Sports & Education Foundation. That would benefit youngsters who rarely get the chance to watch Pompey, with seats in the Milton end available for the home match against Oldham on September 1. The third option is the construction of a disabled spectating platform and disabled toilet at the corner of the South Stand and Milton end. This would be used by away disabled supporters, and, if space, home disabled supporters. In addition, moving away disabled supporters to this area would free up extra disabled spaces for home fans in front of the Fratton end. To vote through Pompey, supporters need to send their name, client reference and choice (option 1, option 2 or option 3) to social@pompeyfc.co.uk by 11pm today.

We do generally have periods where we play really good football, normally once we're already winning. We rarely hoof it from the keeper, but it normally goes out to the full backs or the CB who has gone relatively wide, and then send diagonal balls to Lambert who then wins a header, knocks it down and then we play from there. -
I'm sure they would have done if there wasnt so much bickering and arguements on this forum!!
-
Im pretty certain they will have drawn up a list of 50 or so players who CDAJFU in the prem, and they have enquired about the ones they mostly want with other backups in those positions. Im sure its not, ST, done tick that off....LB, yep done, tick that off. No reason why we cant be looking at completing multiple deals. We need to !

Sounds like this one might be a go-er ! Fingers crossed sounds like he could be a decent little player. Is he the one that Adkins was supposedly looking at over there a few months ago ?
-
So this seems to have all gone rather quiet on all fronts regarding Jarvis. Will he be happy to stay and play in the NPC or will he go somewhere in the Prem? Still think he'd be a cracking player to have on the right of midfield and also give us backup to Lallana given his injury record.
-
Well atleast he is a scouser!
-
Red shirt/black shorts/white socks just looks like Man Utd though.

It's almost as if BFS has something to do with all this corruption in Italian football......Gamberini, Seedorf, Del piero, Elia, Krasic..... -
As long as I get a refund on SaintsPlayer if we get rid of it I'm all for them changing it !
-
Anyone know if the 11/12 shirt is still being sold at the shop and for how much?
-
My mate reckons he's virtually signed for Boro. Sounds like he could be wrong there !
-
swissramble have also done blogs about plenty of other teams, not just is, they all seem to be a very well researched blogs though.
-
Would have thought that it's just unallocated seating.
-
Steven Davis? Never heard of him
-
Bellamy wouldnt have stood a chance if he was English. It's just to get their numbers up I would have thought. Isn't Adam too old anyway? Cork & J-Rod have a chance I would have thought.

I do think Smithies is a bit of an FM myth, wasn't he dropped for Huddersfield last season ?

Dickson isn't going to be involved, Harding is gash, I like Fox, but there is potential improvement to be made there as he's not great at defending. Also if he can play backup for Adam at LM then it would make sense to bring someone else in. -
Very interesting post. I do agree with your points made. It's almost like there should be a 'ranking system' where the best academy is #1, the second best #2 etc.
