So, why DID Mark Fry prefer Pinnacle over Liebherr?
Gemmel replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
Indeed, I listened to the Radio Forum and even without saying anything derogatory about them, NC certainly gave that impression, but not sure how relevant that is to my post that you quoted  -
So, why DID Mark Fry prefer Pinnacle over Liebherr?
Gemmel replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
Because of the eventual outcome (Securing a billionaire owner) and the time that has now passed, my thirst for "The rights and wrongs", "The who did whats" and general facts for everything that went on, has been quaffed. May be that's me just being lazy or sweeping things under the carpet, (Given the perilous position, it put us in), but having my football and football club being overrun with politics these last few years, this new dawn feels more than just exciting and the lastest custodians of the club are for the time being, "politic free" and making all the right noises. So all I want to do now is sit back and enjoy it again. I'm not sure you will ever get the answers you want, but fully respect your desire to seek them out and if it doesn't sound too much of a contridiction to the above, I will as always, enjoy reading your findings / posts on the subject, but for me the past is now the past and we have a talented squad, not firing on all cylinders to concentrate on.........Happy days again. -

Fry went on record saying they had been through "proof of funds" to his satisfaction (Pinnacle) Don't get me wrong, i am not defending Pinnacle or Fry, but would be interested to know just intense "Proof of funds" actually is. -
They said that a return to the premier league within 5 years was achievable

There is if no one buys the company

I'm a fan of Saga, but his performance on Saturday was well short of what he can deliver. Didn't seem to anticipate Lamberts flick on's and was blowing out of his arse mid way through the first half. I expected him to be subbed at half time. I must have missed the chasing down of lost causes, because for my money it was a lazy and unacceptable performance from a player who looked like he didn't want to be out there.

You listen to Radio Solent as well Morph
-
Total horse s h it e .....never seen such a lazy display in all my life
-
LMFAO..... parked outside an accdient repair centre...... The clue is they all had their number plates wiped out.....work it out
-
The most disgusting performance from a Saints Player i have seen in a long time...... And i am a Saga fan. He needs to take a long long long hard look at himself after that and he needs to say a few apologies
-
you may need to change your personalites.....oh, my bad
-
We all commeneted on it but no idea who he was.....cheers FF
-
Hard to argue with that................Saints fans...... unbeliveable
-
You are correct sir
-
Duncan you are better than that he is a professional footballer ....... i'm 100% confident he knows the offside law And Alpine is right .....crap thread
-
Apologies i always thought it was Turkey...and stand corrected. Souness claimed Lowe went back on his word with regard to what funds would be made available and resigned. LM claimed to resign out of principle as he was him that bought Souness to Saints and he didn't want to work for a liar (lowe).
-
I think it was Turkey...but thats by the the by..... He resigned out of principle (Something which i would have thought 19c would find very honorable)
-
Ha ha ....legod SECOND coming (And don't even start about your brother etc etc.) ( You've just done a 19c) One goal means....chaff all, still a shocking player and he is still not good enough for my sons team
-
Couldn't see it posted anywhere else, Apologies if it is. http://www.solent.ac.uk/lmcfr/home.aspx Good luck LM

Dennis Wise was at Charlton on Saturday

:smt103 It might be better using his full name on here...... we wouldn't want a certain poster getting above his station (S)

Well if we are all done on the transfer front for this year, a large part of the role of DOF would be null and void, so it wouldn't be such an issue , not to appoint til then. I believe that Mr Coppell also wanted a decent rest from Football. If we appointed him in January.....

I could be wrong but i think we used to share a coach with the fishy few

I think you are all doing the good doctor a disservice. It is blatantly obvious, that in the theme of "Agent Redknapp", "Dr Saints" is executing a formulated and calculated plan, to rid the premiership of the local doss house, all in the name of the mighty "Red and White" We shouldn't be mocking him or poking fun, we should applaud his wonderful gesture towards the people of Southampton and drink a toast to the outstanding "Dr Saints" who will address the imbalance we have endured for the last 4 years, far quicker than any other man. :drinkers:
