I reckon your £0.99 is safe, but if it is a fake you could always take legal advice and perhaps take it all the way to the high court !!
-
What a difference a day makes, eh ?? Yesterday the mood on here was desolate, with some even questioning Liebherr's motives and spending intentions ! Let's hope that this positive thread represents a new unity on this forum and beyond !!! (ps. I'm not holding my breath!).

A sensible, rational approach to rebuilding a broken structure ! We are now pretty much set up to move forward, Cortese and Pardew have done exactly what they said they would do and you can't say fairer than that ! Step 2 is to settle as a motivated unit with team spirit as it's core ! Optimistic, you bet I am !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! COYS

He comes from Senegal and he cost the saints f#ck all, Waigo, oh, oh, oh, Waigo !!
-
Shouldn't your name be "The Boy Done Good" ?? That being the classic footballer's cliche, yours is almost grammatically correct !!!
-
Apparently he was a stroppy, arrogant little git when he was here before and I don't think much has changed ! The chances of him coming here are about the same as me sh#gging Cheryl Cole this weekend (I'll leave you all to work out the odds!).

I'm with you on this one Prof, if the OS did not consider it in some way special why did they publish a ' Deadline Day Update' article in the morning (suggesting that there would be some activity) and then not give a proper update when the window actually closed ? http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1783822,00.html

I see that Nugent has just gone to Burnley although that might be good for them as he is so very sh#t........

Live Deadline Day Transfer Rumours from Daily Echo
eurosaint replied to ruddick's topic in The Saints
Bit of a bummer really, no ins, outs and it is 17.02 ! Is that it then ??? -
Mills went to Reading for just under £2mil (1.8 I think) !!
-
He was useless for us, lightweight, couldn't cross and flitted in and (mostly) out of matches ! It's fairly typical that once somebody has left they are pronounced as world beaters, I'll wager that he becomes no more than a fringe player for Palace !
-
I reckon Schneiderlin will leave plus 2/3 younger ones out on loan (Lancashire, White, maybe Gobern etc..) We will get another CB (probably Jaidi), replace Rasiak with a pacy forward man (maybe Gradel) and spring a surprise with a top loan from a CCC club (maybe Reading). You heard it here first .........
-
Steady improvement should soon translate into wins, so I predict upper middle of league but probably too late to make the play-offs !
-
The way he runs reminds me of Anders Svennson ! I thought he played well in the Brentford game and expect that he will become a real lynchpin in our midfield. He has all-round qualities, keeps his head up whilst running which is a great asset when making 'killer' passes !
-
That explains why it is so easy to get good grades these days ! Bl**dy New Labour !!!!
-
Agree re. the raised arms, but how could you tell about Saga's goal when the picture was from behind the play and not in line ???? I was thinking at the time that it was a pity that we couldn't get a proper view of it ! Still p1ssed off that we blew it though !
-
Funny how different people see different things, I thought that they were absolute crap (particularly in the first half) and should easily have been 3/4 down at HT ! I can't ever remember seeing so many passes going straight out of play instead of finding their man ! That said, Man City did not look like a team who've just spent £200m but they were always in the comfort zone except for the last few frantic minutes when Nugent missed a sitter !
-
Results were crap, but perhaps he was rebuilding the broken structure which he inherited ? There could be similarities here at SMS and the only way we will find out is if we give AP the time to do it ! In 2 short months we have had: 1) A new owner. 2) A new CEO. 3) A new manager. 4) A new assistant manager. 5) New scouts. 6) New players. Should we be idiotic enough to sack the manager then we start the whole process again ! Ps. Paul, I realise that we are in agreement, I just wanted to highlight the Fergie bit to stress a point !!!
-
Stop complaining, we could still have Rupert with his 'poodle' Poortvliet !!
-
The voice of reason, well said ! In virtually every game we have introduced new players to the team, so inevitably it will take time to gel ! Drawn 3, lost 2 is disappointing for sure, but we will become difficult to beat in the future and with a couple more quality signings I am confident that we can kick onwards and upwards ! I have seen the 4 home games so far and feel that we have improved game by game so that is encouraging ! As for those who may slag off the new owner, get a grip, please....

He has retired through injury !

Most footballer autobiographical books are much of a muchness (I have read dozens of them, sad barsteward that I am!) and are obviously mainly targetted at thier core supporters ! Clearly if you play for Man U you will sell a helluva lot more than Saints for example ! I enjoyed 'Taking Le Tiss' mainly because I could relate to matches, places, goals, players, characters, nicknames etc, etc... He should sell a fair quantity not only to diehards like us but also to the many thousnads around the country (and abroad??) who revelled in his skills and his goals ! His recent success on Gillette Soccer Saturday should also enhance the sales figures and good luck to him, I say !!!!
