  1. Due to a cock up at work we're now unable to go, I have two adults and one under 17 ticket available at face value (£104 for all 3). Completely unrestricted view in block 23. Don't live in Southampton so would have to meet at the Leicester home game. PM me or email me at saint.j.clark@live.co.uk if you cannot PM.
  2. Worth pointing out they played him as a deep lying centre mid.
  3. Newcastle are f*cking useless.
  4. Koemans criticisms might be for the second half where we never properly pressed for another goal, but I can also buy that he's trying to keep the players on their toes. At the end of the day the players did what needed to be done. Davis and JWP were both much better than in the past. Mane pretty quiet by his standards.
  5. So basically we should be getting something a bit more unique instead of template? Lovely. I would still be over the moon if we moved from stripes to sash.
  6. I disagree, I think we're worse. I've tried to get original chants going before (me and two others anyway) and it's just greeted with complete silence and on occasion strange looks. We've got a fanbase who are so afraid of being embarrassed that they refuse to join in with chants that aren't already pretty loud. The Wanyama one was excellent but only got going because everyone was so smashed out in Arnhem. On that note, the Wanyama chant was sung on wednesday and I could not bring myself to join in. Just can't like the guy anymore.
  7. I fail to see why that chant is embarrassing compared to others tbh.
  8. Yep, it's time we actually did something about this. Our repertoire of chants is awful. Use the old Billy Sharp chant for Mane - Mane mane, mane mane, mane mane, mane mane, Sadio-oh-oh! Sadio-oh-oh!
  9. I was praying it came near me so i could eat it and put an end to the ****ing thing.
  10. He was average in a game of good performances. Koeman has said him and Juanmi aren't up to speed physically yet so we need to give them more time.
  11. Long is actually a better header of the ball for me, but Pelles overall threat is better.
  12. Roadworks were a joke, you have to keep one major route south open surely.
  13. From what i've seen he's better than Targett tbh.
  14. Did far more than Juanmi did to be fair.
  15. Great game so far, some fantastic attacking play. Huge fan of Josh Sims. Not sure why these lads aren't given more of a chance if these are the sorts of performances they're putting in.
  16. I think the reason for Soares being dropped a while back was because he wasn't strong enough physically to play against the opponents we were facing. Fair enough...but which teams will we be playing who he IS strong enough to face then? And why did we sign someone who we werent going to use 80% of the time?
  17. Look at the NFL, coaches are there for decades evolving their own sides and there's huge money involved in that.
  18. So basically, smaller clubs lose transfer revenue and players wages go up? How is that viable?
  19. Glynn snodin?
  20. Fourth choice so really can't complain. Been playing with sh*t for a few years now, he will improve immensely under Koeman and playing/training alongside the defenders at Saints and will probably go on to do well providing he signs for another team with a decent set up - Palace, Stoke, someone like that. If he goes to another relegation threatened team he'll just get sucked back into the cycle again.
  21. I don't think anyones saying that. It's a shame and a horrible injury for anyone to suffer, but in all honesty if i could swap places with him right now i absolutely would. I'd suffer much worse injuries for that amount of money.
  22. The one we sign for Shane Long now...? I think it's safe to say that if we'd kept him he wouldn't have broken his leg V PSV tonight. It's not like it was an underlying injury just waiting to happen.
  23. Midgetland got Napoli, Club Brugge and Legia Warsaw. I know we would have been completely different if we'd gone through but it still hurt to see such a great group.
  24. The defectors really have been a bit cursed since they left, haven't they.
