  1. Wrong. Connolly is merely rested, Fonte is all but over his injury. I can near enough guarantee you all four of those players will start V Forest.
  2. Davis, Fonte, De Ridder, Connolly?
  3. Livening up now, Harding is doing well. Corner to Saints.
  4. You mean apart from Lallana and Doble? Are you even listening? The goal was not Barts fault in any way.
  5. Best result IMO - Lambert only misses one league game, then just play a second string in the replay.
  6. No doubt those who slate Fox for "never overlapping" will now slate him for being too far forward and leaving space behind him...
  7. 1-0 to Coventry, oh well - onto the league
  8. Must have missed the first one?
  9. Bart does well, saves from O'Donovan.
  10. One of the big criticisms of Lallana recently is that he actually holds onto the ball too much, so there's no worries for me there - he'll be able to hold it up and bring others into play.

  12. Saints: Bialkowski; Harding, A. Martin, Hooiveld, Fox; Hammond, Cork, Schneiderlin, Ward-Prowse; Lallana, Doble. Subs: Davis, Reeves, Holmes, Forte, J. Stephens, Shaw, Hoskins. Looking forward to seeing how a few of these players do, especially Doble - he looked very handy pre-season.
  13. As I said to Turkish, I rarely give infractions as I try to avoid handing them out wherever possible - but he was asked to stop insulting people and he chose to carry on.
  14. It was not the sole reason he was banned. He was abusive repeatedly despite warnings, then started threads whining about being given infractions for it. It's only a week during which he will hopefully grow/sober up.
  15. Doncaster and Leeds are the two that always spring up, although how they can be considered rivals for the title I do not know.
  16. How far do you take this philosophy? For example, would you care what was happening and who was playing on the pitch, as long as we got the results? I'm a firm believer in the ends justifying the means, and as such I will wait and see what has happened at the end of january.
  17. Yawn. It was 3 separate posts, the first 2 of which I was going to let go but - despite a warning on the thread - you carried on with the abuse. Worth noting that the fact you "denied being a mouth frother" had nothing to do with it. Thread closed - if you want a reply to your PMs then I suggest you cut down the amount of ****s, ****s and ******s you use.
  18. It's his third ban, so yes it is permanent.

  20. Someone made the point earlier that the state should never have control over it's citizens right to life - completely agreed, but what if the decisions were only ever made by jury? Fwiw, there have only ever seen 1 or 2 cases where i've felt the death penalty would be justified.
  21. Give it a rest, for christs sake.
  22. This myth has been dispelled a number of times. He was not wearing jeans and a t-shirt, as people seemed to want to believe at the time. He was wearing black trousers and a shirt. I can only imagine people got wound up about him not wearing a jacket - in summer, when nearly all the people outside were wearing Saints shirts and shorts.
