Been on a number of threads. Still carrying ankle injury from last season

Yep, so the club don't have to send an email or similar to Cardiff to ask for one, that happens automatically, no need to pay someone to do that or to pay for the overheads of the Internet connectivity etc. Or maybe they can print it straight from the internet site, which will take no time, won't cost anything in consumables for printers etc. Oh and has anyone checked to see whether Cardiff will mail them free of charge? Do they send them first class or via courier? How many passes are they sending down? Then of course, no time at all to find an envelope to put it in. Look I don't CONDONE or defend the Ticket Tax OR the Parking Fees, and I think the Comms by the club are appalling (sorry Jordan Sibley, but Marketing and Communications is a hell of a lot more than being about Twitter & an OS and it is fecked up at the moment) BUT to post inane "I don't understand how things work" doesn't help either side in the argument.

Never mind, we'll soon be like Chelsea. 40 quid for the cheapest tickets for the CL this year. Fans up in arms. Good old Platini's fault for making clubs become financially viable. (Oh and have Saints replaced their Sales Manager yet? These sorts of snafu's about communication indicate probably not)

Not just footballers but the cricketers too - KP & Dernbach. Not something I'd ever want to do, can understand why some people want to do it. There is one view that a tattoo (or a temporary Henna one) does look on a woman - the small of her back when viewed from ouch, yes dear, sorry dear. G'night all

ROFL Obviously the word is spreading. "Dear Out of Contract Footballer, come and join us and secure your financial future...." "What come down there feck off!" As opposed to "Oi XYZ, the club's skint, you're under contract and have no choice, we've sold you to the Skates..." "You ****, where's my fecking agent I'll fecking kill him"

Jeez you must have been ****ed. It's still only two weeks since my knee Op & I ain't even allowed out the house at the moment unless it's back to the Hospital. Paultons was some 17 weeks ago. Now be sensible for once and don't spoil a serious thread

It would be interesting to compare "Grassroots" refereeing respect in England with that in Europe, especially say Spain. Just watching highlights of the Barca/Real CL games and the diving back chat fake appeals etc show that the lack of respect is not just an English Disease. Rugby refs (Like Cricket Umpires) do get decisions wrong. Cricket has a format that allows Technology to be used, but while we call for that in football is it practical to all stop and hang around for a minute or so to see 5 replays from different angles regarding a penalty decision? Sure rugby has TV for a try and you could have the same for a goal, but when do you stop the game to review? Straight away? but then sometimes the follow on play creates a chance or a goal. When the ball next goes out of play? What happens if there is a break away and a goal is scored the other end... TV could be used better in football for disciplinary decisions. It is stupid that if a ref gives a free kick for an offence that he has seen when TV shows it to be more dangerous and a yellow or red card offence they should be given. You could give out red's and yellows after the game for diving etc - that would be a start Think it was a shame they dropped the "retreat 10 yards" at a free kick for dissent experiment.

http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/finance/jeremywarner/100011929/europes-banks-are-starring-into-the-abyss/ Ah taking out the fact this simply seemed to be a personal attack on a poster I think I start to understand what GM is on about. Watch Inside Job (movie) then it starts to make sense. Think the phrase is We are all fooked -
Yeah that was a bad day. My normal Chest wig was in the wash

Just watched Inside Job. Documentary movie about the financial crisis. Ouch it hits some home runs and explains the whole thing very well. Starts with an explanation of the Icelandic debacle and then goes into WTF mode as facts fly up on the screen about the build up and how much money people made. Fascinating and scares the bejeesus out of you when you realise - nobody really got fired, they all got promoted. Rotten Tomatoes web site described it as a Horror Film but it's real. This leads to the trailer & a lot of the snippets

Back before you could check in online I was on a work trip - got the travel agent to do the whole booking stuff & went to the BA office to check in during the day so didn't have to rush next morning, had also got emergency exit seat for the leg room. Next morning, breeze through airport security, get to the gate for the 9am flight to UK - beep. Oh you've already boarded she says... Followed by - this boarding pass was for the 1:30am flight. (Checks screen) we did page and phone you... (embarrassed switches on mob - doh) this flight is completely full... Anyway after hanging around for 45 minutes they got me a seat in the middle of a row between two blokes wearing 5XL gear.. Harumph

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/8759126/Tourists-stranded-after-booking-hotel-on-wrong-side-of-the-world.html [/h] OK so what has been YOUR Facepalm Travel Moment? Mine? 1) Flew to UK, went to Car Rental Company discovered my UAE Driving Licence had expired 2 days before. No problem I said pulling out my UK one - doh, that had expired 3 months previously. Sheepish Courtesy Bus ride back to Terminal for the Rail Air Coach & reduced to bus & train for a week of business meetings in Southampton & Bompey. 2) Turned up at Stansted to catch RyanAir to Poland. Get through Security to the gate with pre-printed boarding pass. fight the queue to board & cabin baggage Nazi's get to the front - no, scan of Pass beeps doesn't clunk. The ticket was booked for August, I was trying to fly in July. I'd hit the wrong date box when booking online

Carlton Palmer is very debatable. He was for 90% of his career awful, BUT he did have a good season for us in '97/'98 and was mentioned in some papers as an outside candidate to get back into the England Team for the WC. I think you'll get a lot of stick about the Claus issue, he was a good footballing CB in his prime. Unfortunately for me I will NEVER forget the haunted look in his eyes as he came out on the pitch at Nott Arf in THAT televised match in our relegation year. If ever a player was not mentally ready to be on a football pitch it was him that day. Dennis blossomed with us, but in his days at Brum (I think) he was all over the place footballing and mentality wise. He was however a classic example of how LM managed to get some players to perform.

Was driving home from work when one of my guys called me tpld me to get to a telly fast. Got in, kicked the kids off the playstation, switched on Sky News and within moments watched the second plane hit. I just remember sitting there in tears. The next day we found out that one of the "bright up & coming" guys in the US Head Office had been on one of the flights on with his fiance to get married in Hawaii. His family & friends were all there waiting for them... Think that sad and more personal story hit harder than the TV images in the following couple of days. Heartbreaking, and working for a US Company down here, very worrying times, although the HR Department, the Irish Embassy in Saudi (we reported to Ireland) and people in the US Embassy here were fantastic making sure my people and their families were safe, secure and trained and arranging emergency evacuation procedures "just in case" Bush came up with an even more stupid knee jerk reaction than invading Iraq.

Lambert is an all round footballer. He scores goals, be they tap in's spectacular efforts or as at Ipswich holding off and beating a CB. But he also adds hugely to the team with his ability to drop deep, hold the ball and play a pass. he isn't an old fashioned lump of a CF and he isn't a speedy old fashioned inside forward. He creates as well as scores. He is by no stretch of imagination a Le Tiss, but his percentage impact on statistics Goals/Assists/Passes must surely be up there with those of the great mans' in the context of the team. Thing is? unlike the Rasiak's/ Stern John's/Saga's/DMG's of recent years, we can all see that Rickie is luvin' it. He plays for the team, not himself. I still believe that he would have given more to England in SAF 2010 than Heskey ever did even though he (Rickie) may not have been as sprightly as he appears to be this season. (No that doesn't say D_P thinks he should play for England, just he would have been better than Heskey -!) Both Lmabert and Lallana may soon face a real dilemna. Here at Saints they play in a team where the style of play has developed from the strengths of the players, - our team is built around the players skills, NOt around a style of play. IF they ever went to another club, they would have to fit in with a different style & tactics, they wouldn't have the same freedoms. Staying with us they can get batter and go higher, can you imagine Rickie or Adam having to play the Stoke way?

Great game to listen to. Kept the knee muscles twitching, just what the cute Filipina Physio asked me to do. Now for Roast dinner yum yum. Thanks God Alps turned up at HT we needed that push

YEAH Rickie he'll never score in this league! WOOT
