Warnock's retiring at the end of the season I think. I'm pretty ambivalent about Howe and would definitely prefer Hasenhüttl to stay.

Played well. I like how his first thought when receiving possession is often to drive forward. Won some good tackles and covered a lot of ground. Will be interesting to see how he plays against a more physical Burnley team next weekend.

No doubt we were helped massively by their injuries. They looked like a Championship team without them. Agreed about having a proper left back. He made some good runs and I thought linked up pretty well with Djenepo. Also noticed him directing players in the press which is good to see from a new player without many games. Hopefully a similar performance next weekend although I'm sure Burnley will make it tough.

We must be so used to them getting beat these days that despite a 4-1 loss to Rotherham there hasn't yet been a post about it.

It's a decentralised detection system that rewards people for identifying malicious malware. It doesn't really have any competition in the market and it's mainnet is due by the end of the year. Once that's in place the token will flow through the system which should mean the price goes up a fair amount. They've built up partnerships with companies in their area of expertise rather than pay randoms to shill it on Twitter etc. It's flown completely under the radar until recently when it's started gaining a fair bit of interest. https://polyswarm.io

It's very surprising that we kept a clean sheet while playing McCarthy left wing and Livramento in goal.

Thought we were largely good throughout and never looked like losing. Very pleasing that once we scored we kept solid and the only real clearcut chance they had was when Salisu suddenly had a brainfart and nearly cost us a goal. Midfield was solid, Diallo stepped up and put in a very good performance considering he's barely played. Salisu was excellent aside from his one moment of madness and Elyounoussi put in some good work. Heard on the radio on the way back after that Ralph said he had been a bit sick so a very industrious performance considering that. Both fullbacks had good games and Broja took his goal well. Finally a big well done to Redmond who had a great game. Was running at players, worked hard and set the goal up with a lovely assist. Much bigger crowd today for some reason. I can't work out why a lot more people came today than the Wolves game. It's still laboriously slow getting through the turnstiles. Are people still struggling with tickets scanning?

You don't know what are you are talking about. His selection was awful, subs crap and he doesn't know what he's doing. Haven't you been reading this thread?

What reaction would you prefer? Personally I'm going to enjoy the evening after watching my team win at home for the first time in ages.

You are an idiot.

All over them and still people moan.

Leeds are missing a lot of their usual suspects. Could be an open, exciting game.
-
Broja in. I'm excited to see him start the game.

Oh yeah, totally. Wish I'd accumulated Bitcoin and Ethereum over the past few years and just left it. I'd be sitting in the £80 premium padded Kingsland seats if I had!

Buying in and leaving it, yes. Buying in and trading, then probably no unless you are really good at it. That's where a lot of amateurs like me got overexcited and lost some of their money. I don't have any Bitcoin but have some Ethereum and a pretty big chunk of a small coin called Polyswarm which I'm pretty excited about.

The city centre is a bit crap because they did a shit job rebuilding it after the war. I'm sure that if the council had the money they'd bulldoze the precinct and start again but that's never going to happen now. The rest of the city centre though is fine. Loads of parks, more than most similar size cities. Bedford Place/London Road street closures and outdoor seating have made that whole area a much better place to hang out now. There's loads going on at the moment here. I've been to about 25 gigs since covid restrictions were scrapped. The arts scene is bigger than it has ever been. Give it a few years once they've sorted the old Toys r Us site and the Bargate development and things will be even better.

He'd struggle with that because it doesn't exist anymore. He'd be drinking in the fan zone pre match.

With players like Sims and Hesketh you have to wonder if the problem is a mental one. Both had some talent and at least in Sims' case he did sporadically prove it at the top level. They also spent time out on loan. I thought Hesketh was getting good reviews at Burton when he was there and Doncaster loved Sims. It's a bit of a mystery where their careers have ended up.
-
Not necessarily. It's more that people sometimes massively overrate our players. I don't think anyone was rating N'Lundulu that highly in the first place though?
-
What happens once all the clubs have been taken over by mega rich owners? They can't all win something. Also, I've lost track of FPP but how does that work with Newcastle? Can they just go out and spunk £500 million on players in January?
-
Going all MLG here, but the City of London police has a Commissioner and they are separate from the Met.

This I guess? https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2021/oct/06/brighton-and-hove-albion-footballer-arrested-on-suspicion-of-sexual-assault

if this happens I hope there's a funny transition stage where Mbappe and Haaland are playing up front while Jonjo Shelvey is in midfield and Steve Bruce is still manager.

I thought they kept us away from Portsmouth in the group draw on purpose, probably because of police advice. Seeing as we never qualify from the group stages it's unlikely we'll play them.
