Leicester fans might need to be on their toes for the away game.

I reckon it's ok to use first names for people at the club you support so you could have just gone with Ralph there mate. However once you committed to the surname I was disappointed to see you spell his name incorrectly while also ignoring the umlaut. A proper fan would have made the effort and had him down as Hasenhüttl.

Jack? Are we referring to other teams players by first names now? If so then I'd rather Kevin or Ruben were injured than Jack.

What was the official attendance on Saturday?

Pretty sure offers will be coming out soon. We've done kids for a quid previously so that's likely. Also we often give Tyro teams the option of buying cheap tickets and have done something similar with the Unis before. If I hadn't forked out for a season ticket there is no way I'd buy many match tickets as the prices are obscene. -
Funny that Man Utd lost to Young Boys. Jankewitz didn't make it off the bench though.

Maybe. Bit early to really pass full judgement. Townsend's always run hot and cold throughout his career. Gray could go either way but on the face of it they were low cost so worth a punt especially as Everton apparently aren't spending much money now.

3 goals conceded in 6 minutes. Wouldn't see us do that sort of thing.

He's a weird one because whenever we play lower league teams he's on fire and looks far better than them, yet in the Premier League he's wildly inconsistent. Too good for the championship, not consistent enough to regularly perform at a high level in the premier league.

I look forward to the game at Old Trafford when you start the Manchester U vs Saints thread!
-
My main question is why the OP gave it a title of 'Manchester C' when no one calls them that and it would have been quicker to write Man City?
-
I meant to post that on the Salisu thread, although the foot in part applies to both the CB's. I'm more than aware of how old Jack Stephens is thank you.
-
What I liked was the way he kept getting a foot to the ball in front of the player receiving it. Snuffed out so many attacks that way. His positioning is also very good for his age, doesn't seem phased by anything and has decent pace. Looks like we have a gem of a player here.

There were loads of empty seats at the back of the Northam/Kingsland corner which was strange as those used to be full. Did everyone there move en masse to another part of the stadium?

This guy knows what he's on about

I was more annoyed about him stopping the game to send Antonio off. Just wait until play stops and do it then. We were on the break and had would have had a good chance to get a decent shot in.

Saw someone wearing the shirt at the match today. It's actually well smart although I'd look ridiculous in it.
-
Did anyone in the Chapel see the guy crack his head open? From the family stand the first thing we saw was the paramedics rushing up there and then spending ages working on him. We weren't sure whether he'd had a heart attack or something and it was only when they got him on the trolley that we saw all the blood on his face and then the stewards and cleaners mopping it up. Poor bloke.

Thought we largely played well and were unlucky not to get the win at the end. We obviously learnt from previous games against West Ham and kept the midfield tight which didn't make for a wildly interesting first half but did the job in the respect that it stopped them bullying us as normal. Salisu and Stephens were excellent in keeping Antonio quiet, as was McCarthy who didn't put a foot wrong all game. In fact all the defense played well, Livramento is so smooth going forward and Perraud looks a decent buy. Happy with a draw against a good team. We contained them really well and you'd probably have to say Ralph did a bit of a job on Moyes there as they have far superior players to us but never looked like winning.

I bumped into him on St Catherine's Hill a few weeks ago. He was walking his dog with his parents and was happy to stop and chat. Took his cap off to show us the stitches on his forehead and had a photo. Good lad.

I see Joe Salisbury won the US Open doubles beating Jamie Murray and his partner but it barely gets a passing mention in the media.
-
It's all a load of old pony. Jimmy Case would have played through this injury and been on the piss down the Dog & Duck between games. Why can't we have players like him anymore?

2 year extension to her contact which is weird as GM had her nailed on as being sacked earlier in the thread. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2021/sep/08/cressida-dick-offered-two-year-extension-as-met-police-chief

Good to see a decent British female player coming through. We seem to massively underachieve as a nation. Apart from Andy Murray we've barely had anyone do consistently well for a long time in the singles.

I think Lowe ditched the women's team around the time he canned the radio station too. From memory it was before administration but the start of his cost cutting regime. Sue Lopez was the coach when I took some FA badges. She was unreal, probably the best footballer I've been on a pitch with.
