Judging by the number of people filming it there is bound to be some youtube footage of the lads singing this in the concourse at half time while letting off a couple of smoke bombs.

Agree with VFTT and Shroppie. We played some very tasty stuff going forward and had them in all sorts of trouble at times. Their only tactic was lumping it to big players to try and take advantage of Stephens' inexperience and Forsters poor form. Can't say I blame them for that but it was pretty ugly to watch. We on the other hand played some lovely, attractive football. Some of the comments on here are just daft, as was the Watford fan walking back saying that Saints were bang average and that it was a disgrace to lose to a team like us.

From a work colleague who was there: 10 minutes into the second half he unzipped his coat to reveal the red & white stripes before running up and down the steps in the Fratton End swinging a scarf above his head. He got hit a few times before the stewards dragged him out.

I get my kids to stand on their seat if they can't see, which is what one of them did yesterday. It's pretty much accepted that everyone stands at away games which is what caused problems yesterday. Strangely I don't remember any issues at the JPT when the lower tier stood for the whole match.
-
I didn't get the fact that most of the lower tier sat down. What was that all about? Luckily we were near enough to the back to stand but there were a few people arguing near us about it. We made a lot of noise at times even if it was limited to 2 or 3 chants. I didn't hear their fans much.

Depends on a number of factors. If we're 3-0 down with a few minutes to go then not long at all. If it goes to the last minute and you hang around to see either team lift the cup it will be up to 45 minutes to get on a tube.
-
That was me. We're going to Borough too. No face paints or jester hats among our lot, not even the kids. Had a few good sessions in that area, although last time I was there they locked us in the pub because Millwall were heading up.
-
I wouldn't consider drinking near the ground. Everywhere was completely rammed before the JPT. We're going south of the river, should be quieter there.

No alcohol on official coaches. Have you considered adding some whiskey to a bottle of coke, it's a bit less obvious than cracking open a can!

Considering that he played for Uruguay against England in 2014 World Cup I'd hazard a guess that pretty much everyone here has seen him play at least 1 game.

Interesting thing there is that Palace only have 2 relegation rivals to play, so those games are massive for them. If they fail to beat Boro on Saturday they are in all kinds of trouble.

Here's the big games down the bottom: 25th Feb Palace vs Boro 4th March Leicester vs Hull 11th March Hull vs Swansea Middlesbrough vs Sunderland 18th March Bournemouth vs Swansea 1st April Swansea vs Middlesbrough 4th April Hull vs Middlesbrough Leicester vs Sunderland 15th April Palace vs Leicester 22nd April Bournemouth vs Middlesbrough 6th May Hull vs Sunderland 13th May Sunderland vs Swansea 21st May Leicester vs Bournemouth Far more exciting to me than seeing who wins the league.

At least he didn't mention golf, so fair play to Phil for that.

The team in 11th won't go down you muppet. Good try though.

Tough one this. Hull have got a lot better under Silva, as have Swansea under Clement. Allardyce normally finds a way to keep teams up. All will come down to the games between them as the bottom 6 all have loads of games against each other. I'll guess at Sunderland, Boro and hopefully Leicester. Don't discount Bournemouth yet, they have some very tough fixtures including a run of us, Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs in April.

Mahrez and Vardy well worth their 100k a week on current form. Leicester haven't scored in the league in 2017.

I don't like tbeir glory hunter fans who live miles away from Manchester and arrogantly bang on about how great they are despite never having set foot inside Old Trafford. On the flip side their travelling support is way up there with the best in the country and should always command respect for the noise they make and variety of songs. As a club, well they are massive, relentless brand who have become a plaything and a cash cow for their American owners. I'd hate it if we were run in the same way, yet no one would turn down their success and trophy haul. Mourinho is a bit irritating at times but he also makes me laugh, and I'm sure he's taking the **** half the time for his own amusement.

Free money for the bedwetters to buy new sheets.
The Cat replied to tisspahars's topic in The Saints
I always ask the kids for first goalscorer and final score and put a quid on it. I laughed when the 8yo suggested Gabbiadini 5-0 but he was a lot closer than all our other predictions and in the end was only one goal from winning me £200. -
Great result. Very nice win.

I was listening on Solent while watching a cracking 6-3 game in the Wessex League. During the game Blackmore said about Tuesday again, and also that he was back in Uruguay until it is announced. No mention of anything to do with his brother.

At Anfield last season there were a few people who were clearly struggling to see. Without being asked the stewards took it upon themselves to ask some of our fans nearer the front to swap seats, which they did, so those who couldn't see were able to. Maybe if more stewards were proactive and friendly, rather than standing there looking gormless or moody which many seem to, then some of the problems could easily be solved.
-
What about all the kids who support Saints who are also chronically or terminally ill? I'm sure they'd all like us to win to put a smile on their faces.

I've mentioned it before but Jordan Robertson's goal against Norwich at St Mary's was a stunner. I'm pretty sure it was his only goal for us during his loan spell. I've searched online but never been able to find it.
