  1. Fantastic result, and fully deserved. Love it. Even the Family Stand were singing.
  2. The biggest thing to come out of this is that our twitter account is run by a dog.
  3. Favourite football moment - Taking my son to his first away game and seeing us blitz Fulham 3-0 Favourite Saintsweb moment - Saint Richmond replying to his own posts while forgetting to use his second account and then leaving in a strop. Comedy gold.
  4. That's funny. I like Jake Yapp.
  5. It is. They also have the angle of Ralph Kruegar to push to their viewers, no doubt he's someone quite familiar to US sports fans. Interesting that the clip features a lot about the Academy. The whole structure was shot to pieces when Liebherr took over and I hope they spend some time focusng on the hard work which got it rebuilt to its current state.
  6. I'm pretty sure the Obelisk has them on.
  7. Exactly. He didn't look bothered because he knew the ref would send him off. No point arguing about it.
  8. Saw this earlier and got 3 together in the family stand. I presumed even at these prices that there would be plenty of tickets left. Fair play to both sets of fans and the club for the pricing strategy.
  9. Halo, that was very funny.
  10. Depends whether we ran them off or not.

    Yoshida

Was fine playing out of position. Obviously he's not got the game to burst down the line and get crosses in so we were weakened in that respect but he did a decent job. Presumably he started at RB instead of Alderweireld because Koeman wanted him in the middle to keep Costa quiet. Having spent a couple of years playing up against him in training means he has the advantage of knowing his game and he kept him reasonably quiet throughout.
  12. Defensively superb all over the pitch, that was a real battle and one we came out of with a well deserved point and our heads held high. Targett was excellent, as was Alderweireld. Happy for Mane that he silenced the idiots again with a very well taken goal. Shout out to the family in front who spent all game filming on their phones everytime the ball came towards us and then naffed off home on 78 minutes.
  13. Was 1130 for a 3pm last season, although a couple arrived earlier than that. If you are lucky there is space for a few cars on the verge by Cemex, not sure you can park in the main car park on match day even that early, but I could be wrong.
  14. This Palace fan doesn't think much of us: "f***ing hate Soton and there deluded middle class fans. I've honestly met some complete f***wits down there on many occasions. We never beat them.... Other than QPR this us the one I want to win badly .
  15. I like them, but then I've been with them since their League 1 days so to speak. I do agree they have been massively hyped this year without doing much differently to previous records.
  16. Just remembered the gig was slightly tarnished by the Reading flag draped over the amp. No need for that!
  17. Southampton to Birmingham does always seem unnecessarily expensive on the train.
  18. That was an incredible gig. Didn't seem like 3 hours at all. I bought the tickets as a present for my partner but she had worked it out long before the day. Robert Smith was welling up at the end, he's a big softie really.
  19. Can't wait to hear the crowd reaction when he misplaces his first pass or loses the ball after trying to beat a 3rd player.
  20. Worthwhile post because no doubt he's reading this.
  21. Is that true? We've had people on here before saying how good their stuff is.
  22. Most times I have seen dancers on the pitch they've been around 16-18 years old. Most likely made up of girls from local dance groups. Same at the cricket with the ones who dance during 20/20 games. You'd struggle to find a bunch of cheerleaders like those in your picture over here.
  23. That's exceptional support from them. Fair play.
