  1. Denmark just lost 3-2 to Kazakhstan after being 2-0 up. Mad result.
  2. Did anyone go to Sholing yesterday? Gutted I missed this as it sounds highly amusing.
  3. Love the language they use in relation to transfers. Aston Villa are "plotting" to sign Salisu. It's not like they are trying to overthrow an oppressive government regime ffs.
  4. Friday night behind enemy lines.
  5. Been causing a fair bit of trouble since lockdown. Lots of new faces, next generation getting involved. Will be interesting when we go down, see what happens against Championship fans.
  6. There's some funny moments in the video, I especially liked the waitress who carried on serving people sat outside watching. Bit of a weird place for a fight. It's hardly like Spurs tried anything like storming the Kingsland Tavern. Instead they decided to stomp around the bottom of Oxford Street with their flat caps on, lobbing a few chairs while a bunch of people either waiting for their cruise ship or having a bite to eat after looking around the Uni open day sat there looking bemused.
  7. Harry Maguire has also been picked for the England squad. Forster in presumably because one of Pickford, Ramsdale or Pope are injured? Henderson is injured too. Why would be pick McCarthy who doesn't play? Joe Hart plays for Celtic and, probably barely touches the ball and he's not going to select a Championship keeper with no international experience outside of friendlies. Forster is in because, as a nation, our depth in goalkeeper quality is currently in a poor state and he happens to be next in line. If Lloris wasn't injured then Forster wouldn't be playing for Spurs and he wouldn't be in the squad.
  8. Going to buck the trend of negativity and predict a win. Bournemouth will nick a point at home to Fulham, West Ham will go bottom of the league and Moyes will get sacked in the tunnel after the game.
  9. I thought he was going to go over the wall and dip it low towards the bottom left corner yesterday. Surprised he tried to hit top right corner as Forster was covering that side. I'm sure I read his conversion rate from free kicks is around 12% which is insanely good but goes to show that not scoring from the last 4 isn't at all unusual. His penalty yesterday was absolutely perfect.
  10. Once we've worked out how to get him into dangerous areas and then actually manage to give him the ball there he's going to be a massive threat. Teams already aware of his pace so have been defending tight to him, denying space to turn. He's a young and relatively inexperienced player, although unfortunately we don't really have time to wait for him to really bed into the team and need him to perform now if we're going to stay up. Another player who will be extremely important when we go down.
  11. Has played pretty well since coming back into the team yet there's still cretins in our support who think it's a good idea to boo when his name is a announced. When he got injured yesterday he was rightly applauded off. He's never going to be a top centre back but he's knuckled down and put in some relatively decent performances which is all we can ask for. Would have been easy for him to chuck the towel in and coast to the end of the season on the bench. Pity about yesterday's injury, hope it's not too long until he's fit again because until then we're one injury away from Lyanco starting again.
  12. There was quite a lot of trouble up there after the 3-2 win. Where did it happen yesterday? Was it in town afterwards?
  13. Who is the next CB in line? DCC or Lyanco? DCC obviously the better player but we'll have to see who Selles picks.
  14. Both teams were poor in defence although that's more understandable with us considering as we only had 1 proper CB on the pitch for an hour. Thought their fans were as crap as their defence. Barely sang apart from about us going down with West Ham. Saying that we still have muppets booing Bednarek when his name is announced. Plenty of Spurs in home ends. Did anyone get a slap?
  15. Must have been watching a different game to me. The one I saw lasted longer than 65 minutes.
  16. Great fightback. Good to see the team putting a shift in. For someone who has been at the game, what page of this thread is best to look at to see posters making twats out of themselves?

    U18s

Lost 5-2 to Chelsea this morning with a very young and inexperienced team, most of them have only played 4 or 5 games. Giving them experience for next season while the older U18's play for the U21's. 2 goals for Josh Pitts.
  18. 2 goals for Jay Robinson who is 16. Outstanding.
  19. First and last. Hopefully the team won't chuck the towel in like you obviously have.
  20. Got a little messy in Naples last night...
  21. Time for Diallo to shine!
  22. Does this mean they're reopening block 1 and shifting the away fans on that side over a bit to create the gap between supporters?
