I reckon Chambers will end up playing further upfield as Bale has done. Shaw is definitely a gritty left back, whereas I believe Chambers has much more potential going forward.

I generally try to avoid this place for the 24hrs following a defeat (it's not that difficult actually) for precisely the reasons you state. Opinion is one thing, but the constant shove it down your throat, need to be proved right, slagging off is frankly tiresome. I expect some (you know who you are) will say "don't be so precious", or "its a mboard FFS", but it has been taken over by a gang of half a dozen our so keyboard warriors who make it a unpleasant experience. Shame really.

I think we have to expect that Morgan and Vic will pick up a fair few bookings. The way we play will leave us exposed occasionally, and they will have to disrupt the counter attack by fair means or foul. All three will get a fair amount of playing time, although MS and Vic for the big games. Or.............. I don't think they "did a job on us" given the opportunities we created. Frankly we dominated, and if the marginal offside call had gone our way would have battered them. Thereafter, both SRL and J-Rod had sufficient opportunities. Cardiff, on the other hand, definitely did a job on Man City!
