Perhaps they've been 'engaged' by Fry and Co as a sort of 'pacemaker' to speed up the race between the two 'real deal' front runners? You know, a bit like the geezer who runs the first 6 miles of the marathon to try and get a world record for the race organiser's prestige? There are no doubt connections but might be worth highlighting one of the major differences.... Norwich have a higher 'core' fan base than SFC (aka less 'plastic' fans) and yet they're as woeful on the field as we are. Which perhaps brings into question the argument over the season that the dwindling attendance levels have had an effect on team performance. Having a strong 20-25k core fan base didn't do Norwich much good....

Not forgetting the 64 pages of 'new' public sector job adverts every week....

So I assume we can take a cut of the revenue by providing links and directing people at their sites? We should be able to make a fair amount of commission out of this....

What was the context? Did he say "household name" as in: household name to people who mix in Saints circles or "household name" as in my nan would recognise them? Say "Le Tissier" or "Lowe" to my nan and she wouldn't have a Scooby (pun intended) as to who I was wittering on about. Say "Bruce Forsythe" and she'd be on message like a shot. Also, was it the name of the company that was "household" or the name of the individual who ran/owned the company? (reading between the lines if necessary) Cheers!

Wacky theory alert....(apologies if this has already been suggested by someone as equally bereft of reality as oneself... ) Let's say that the Football League, having 'forensically examined' our accounts, concluded that they (the Football League) didn't have a leg to stand on legally.... However, they decided that they would dock the points anyway so that, in the event of a successful appeal by SFC, they could turn around to the other miffed clubs and say: "well, at least we tried". If they had simply decided not to dock us any points they would have come under all sorts of fire from various quarters. So, it's a "win win" for them to go for the penalty option regardless of the outcome.... Perhaps?
