Other 19/20 year old strikers at Premier League clubs are mainly still playing for their under 23 team or out on loan, so Obafemi is ahead of most of his peers. If he had spent the whole of 2019/20 as a 19 year old in our under 23 team would you want him sold now? How does Saints feeding a story like this to the press make any difference to getting a bid? Why would a club pay any attention to such an article?

If your employer told you weren't allowed to go abroad on your holiday would you be happy? It isn't enforceable and all they could do is advise against it.
