What definition of "crap" are you using? Pelle is not "crap", yes he's had a barren spell in front of goal but he is still a key part in the way the team play and is a key reason as to why we have done so well this season. Long and Pelle are current internationals and despite what you think they have done well this season, we aren't going to suddenly drop them at this point in the season for Gallagher. The bar this season is higher than it was last season. The reason Gallagher got game time last season was because we lacked depth in attacking areas. This season we have more attacking options, and Gallagher will find it harder to get a spot on the bench. You only need to listen to Koeman to see all this is the case.

Thats is a huge leap you just made there. A 19 year old not making the match day 18 of a team 7th in the Premier League does not automatically mean the manager doesn't "rate" him. Koeman said today... Gallagher is "a young player with a lot of development and a lot of interest for Southampton"

From an interview done today... Simon Peach @SimonPeach 10m10 minutes ago Ronald Koeman says @AlderweireldTob's injury is "looking positive", so he could play against #THFC. He will have a clearer idea on Thursday.

In the past the response to Spurs fans singing it has been to retort with... "We are Southampton, we sing our own songs".

Do you judge players solely on goals scored and assists? -
The article is fundamentally flawed, they are using 2013/14 wages to discuss the 2014/15 league table.

He has only recently been used at right back, normally a centre back until an injury left Saints short at right back.

Ings is 22, Austin is 25. Both had their 1st proper season at Championship level in 2011/12, despite Ings being 3 years younger! When Ings is Austin's age he'll be a very good player. I'd be happy with either, but to dismiss Ings' talent is wrong to do.

He is 22 years old and playing for the team bottom of the league. How many goals were you expecting him to score? Its clear he has a lot of talent and to describe him as an "average basic Championship player" is nonsense.

Will Wood and Armani Little sign professional deals

Surely that would make things very simple... if no offers come it he wouldn't have any option but to stay. I suppose it then become a question of if he wants a pay rise from us or not that would come with signing a new contract.

Sky have given it a lot clearly as the showed the game, but the BBC have completely ignored it on their website. It was a Premier League cup final with 12,356 at the game. Surely that is worth a mention? They give coverage to significantly smaller games than that.

I think its extremely unlikely Koeman will drop a senior player like Elia (if he is fit) to make way for a youngster. We haven't loaned Elia and Djurcic to not even be on the bench when they are available and fit. -
Newcastle signed Nottingham Forest's keeper in last summer and loaned him back to them for the season. Mike Ashley might see it as good business in his eyes to sell Krul and use Darlow next season.
