  1. Pretty much, yes. In stadiums of many thousands of seats you are going to get single seats dotted throughout that are hard to sell. Most people go to matches with at least one other person. When a club says a game is a "sellout", it is effectively a sellout to anyone that wants to go to a game and not sit on their own. Do you not think that is the case?
  2. I think its more likely to be Vilhena as the replacement in the squad for Cork and if Schneiderlin goes in the summer Koeman will want Clasie.
  3. The club will probably call it a sell out as single seats will be hard to shift. Every official "sellout" we've had in the past will have had some single seats unsold.
  4. Osvaldo is a very talented player (Saints wouldn't be loaning him to the likes of Inter Milan and Juventus if he wasn't), the problem is he is a mentalist, does crazy things and keeps being chased out of clubs...
  5. If Ali Dia wasn't signed by Saints he couldn't play in a Premier League game.
  6. He is on loan at Mainz from Benfica.
  7. He is not in the match day squad today for Mainz...
  8. So you think being knocked out of Europe in August (after not reaching the group stages) has ruined their Premier League season? They are doing worse than us in the Premier League because their squad is weaker, it has nothing to do with their very short lived European campaign.
  9. Koeman confirmed his interest in Tonny Vilhena today.
  10. None of the journalists in the broadcast section of the press conference asked Koeman about him. Perhaps they did in the written section, but that is currently under embargo.
  11. Koeman in the last hour confirmed his interest in Tonny Vilhena and Filip Djuricic. He said there is a good chance one will sign this window, possibly both.
  12. Koeman said they are all close to returning and should be back for next weekend vs QPR.
  13. https://www.facebook.com/FSSrbije?rf=174183379301107 They claim Saints have announced it on their website, which clearly isn't the case.
  14. I think its far more likely to be down to game time than wages, Cork is more likely to start for Swansea than he is for us. If both clubs offered him regular starts then I'm sure Saints could out do Swansea in terms of a contract offer.
  15. Its the Britannia Stadium in Stoke.
  16. His contract ends in June, I doubt we'd get remotely close to £6m.
  17. The BBC's bid was unopposed! They won a one-horse race... Meanwhile...Adrian Chiles is currently being turned into glue.
  18. Still very young (not even a 1st year scholar yet) but possibly could be fast tracked into the first team squad in next few years.
  19. So what? Plus Shelvey isn't particularly defensively minded either, at least in comparison with Cork anyway.
  20. Of the players you list, only 1 is a deep lying central midfielder who would be competition for Cork.
  21. They don't trust your cover story, when the RAF turn up you'll be like this...
  22. Do you think Chelsea consider Burnley a "rival" and don't want to sell players to them? There is a line to be drawn somewhere over who is a rival for league positions and I think Swansea are below Southampton's line. Southampton's rivals for league position this season are Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs and possibly West Ham. Saints loaned Ramirez to Hull because they knew we would finish higher than Hull and Hull weren't a threat (cue posts saying Ramirez weakened Hull ).
  23. They aren't really a "rival" this season, we are 12 points ahead with a 25 swing in goal difference between the two sides.
