I'm actually impressed with the artistic nature of that, I'm going to try and find a pic of Le Tiss scoring the last goal at the Dell and give it the same treatment in Photoshop...I mean MS Paint!

Just knocked this up on MS Paint..

Start off at Pop, then go to Junk. They play all that stuff in there, might have to ask the Dj for a specific request...

Lol. Indeed. Actually, the band sued this lot in the 2000's and got them to change their name. Everyone still knows them as this mind you... -

This would get people up for the game: -
If there's no-one there at the moment, then it would have to take an existing ST holder to move there anyway. I'm sure it'll be available, it'd have to be pretty unlucky not to be. Otherwise, as said before all 3 of you can move. It's pretty easy.. What's the problem with some people moaning all the time about every little thing. Contact Cortese? Are you having a f*cking laugh? I'm sure he's got better things to think about than every single fans individual seating requirements. F*ck me.

This is wrong. As stated earlier in this thread, my old man is a Headteacher in Southampton. He has complete jurisdiction as to when these go ahead...
-
My old man is a Headmaster and he always makes sure these are tagged on the end or before holidays. Better for everyone... But, that is a ridiculous statement to make about training. So, you think a teacher who starts at 22/3 should have no extra training til they retire at 65?! What about teachers these days, none would have a f*cking clue how to use IT, something that has fundamentally changed the way education is delivered. What about changes in syllabus? I'm not a teacher, but f*ck me, that's a stupid thing to say...

I'm not defending him, as he was terrible at the time. We lost the attacking flair we had under Nicholl, played awful football and lost some very good players. However, we were lucky enough to survive and recover. We have sunk far lower in the last 5 years than Branfoot ever took us...unfortunately, he's been completely overshadowed by two relegations.

Good shouts, I'll stick them in..

Following on from the 'flop' thread, it got me thinking about Branfoot's transfer business. Trying to get together a list of all his Ins and Outs - Yes, I'm bored and having a trip down memory lane! Does anyone remember anymore? Also, correct me on any I've put. It seems so long ago now, my memory tends to blend some Nicholl/Branfoot/Ball transfers! Ins Dave Beasant Dowie Speedie Dixon Paul Moody Stuart Gray Terry Hurlock Steve Wood David Lee Ken Monkou Paul Allen Peter Reid Perry Groves Simon Charlton Outs Case! Shearer Flowers Ruddock Horne I found this link, during some investigation. Will bring back memories for some. Never knew Taylor was tipped to replace him: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football-taylor-enters-frame-as-branfoot-bows-to-fans-pressure-exengland-manager-may-be-saint-1399584.html

Biggest Flop Signing & Low Expectation That Came Good
Saint Mikey replied to Gemmel's topic in The Saints
On the subject of Branfoot's signings. Didn't he sign Micky Adams? He did well for us, as did Stuart Gray til he got injured. Steve Wood? I seem to remember him doing OK, but could be wrong. Plus Paul Allen was also decent. All of these will be outweighed by: Paul Moody Speedie Dixon Hurlock David Lee There must be more than this though? Anyone got a definitive list of Branfoot's signings? Can't find anything out there... -
This is partly my point though. Why have a facility for druggies etc, to carry out their business? Seems ridiculous to me...
-
What is the use of these now? I only ever see skag addicts use them, so what's the point? Let's face it, even if you lost your mobile, it's not as if anyone knows anyones number these days! Surely they can't generate that much profit either.

I think that's a bit harsh on Barney. Yes, he is a hardworking player but technically he's not bad and is also a very decent finisher. Yes, he lacks electric pace, but I think on the basis of the goals he's scored the last two seasons, he deserves a bit of a crack at the C'ship. Saying that, I would still welcome Sharpe, who I think would give us a bit more pace and something different up front.

Where's your evidence for this? Are you an accountant at SMS?

The Judge decided that as these two had been working at 'plucky' Pompey, they couldn't possibly have done anything wrong. So, they all shook hands and had a pint together. Case Closed.

Why did you expect a tip, because he's famous? Did you go beyond what is normally expected of a taxi driver? I presume he paid the fare?

How long before someone with a beard, posts about the need to sell real ales, despite the complete unsuitability to do so...FFS

I've read both these. Brilliant Orange is a cracking read. Jonathon Wilson's books have a very academic feel, but they are rigorously researched. If you enjoy that one, get Behind the Iron Curtain (some quite simply unbelievable allegations and revelations about what some teams get up to in Eastern Europe - make Pompey look like amateur cheats!). Also, The Anatomy of England, which details why we are so gash at the National game in 10 featured matches. I would also say that Steaming In by Colin Ward is an absolute must read. A real insight into the behaviour and psyche of the fan in the 70's/80's. Spawned a load of 'yob' books like Hoolifan, but isn't like the rest. Doesn't go on about how 'hard' he is and is more a 'bystander'. By far the best footy book I've read and I've read a few! If you want a real insight into a normal Pro footballer's life, then Left Foot Foward by Garry Nelson is also a very very good read. Is playing for Charlton at the time and towards the end of his career. Gives you a different opinion on pros (well some anyway!). Want to mix it up? Then definitely read the Damned Utd by David Peace, about 1,000 times better than the film. Which, I thought was well acted, but insipid and toothless compared to the book, which is frankly, dynamite!

Yeah, I mean we might actually save more lives here. FFS, what is this world coming to?

LOLz. It's the hope that'll kill 'em...

I saw those plain La Coste polos for £65 in John Lewis. Best off checking there...All a bit 'footy thug' though, isn't it?
