A friend of mine won the FHM high street honey competition a few years back. She's a switched on girl, was studying to be a nurse at the time and donated the £10k award to charity. The magazine interviews would always try and ask her smutty questions and she refused to answer them. Shortly afterwards the work dried up as she also refused to do topless and fully naked. I don't think it's a question of the girls being stupid, more that they are "willing to play the game" and answer the smutty questions making themselves come across as cheap and stupid. It seems this is what is required to keep getting your pictures published in the mags.

Iquite like Wigan's left back Espinoza. Proper duracel bunny. Doesn't stop running all day long. Seems more interested in attacking than defending a bit like Luke Shaw. Might be a good option at left back as back up to LS. Pretty sure he's back up at Wigan when Figueroa is fit.

Don't really get this logic. His fitness record is excellent. He's rarely injured and his game isn't based around pace. If anything, he'll continue to improve and be an even better player in 2-3 years time. Great news. Congrats Rickie. Thoroughly deserved.

Best reader of the game we have in defence. Don't think he's a great full back but he did well today. One thing I don't like about him is he has a tendency to stick a boot out at anything that goes near him which tends to result in balls ricocheting off others around him. I'd say he is probably our best centre back.

As far as I know you are in the Navy. Portsmouth is a naval port so it is quite likely that a large proportion of the people you know are Portsmouth "sympathizers" who adopt the 'Scummer' nickname in referring to Southampton. I have lived and worked in London for over 10 years alongside football nuts and a large amount of my family and friends are avid Newcastle fans. Not once do they refer to Southampton as Scummers.

We aren't known as Scummers by most football fans. Do people forget that up until about 10 years ago, we called Pompey fans Scummers as much as they called us it? I even saw on Facebook a few days ago one of my best mates referring to the totally fictional dockers strike to justify why we are called the "Scum Army". I still cringe at the thought of our fans latching on to a fictional story to justify a derogatory nickname we used to call Pompey fans until recent memory but for some reason seem so keen to adopt.
