Is it me or does AOC being on the bench today smack of giving the lad an opportunity to say goodbye to the fans? Isnt he supposed to be injured? Looks to me as if Adkins will let him come on for the last couple of minutes to say his farewells. What does everyone else think?

On a serious note the Bombay Brasserie just off Gloucester Road takes some beating if you are a fan on Indian cuisine.

Rock for me. The other half's Grandad has a massive house down there a short walk from the ferry over the Camel estuary from Padstow but you tend not to get too much of the tourist riff raff over the other side in Rock. Only drawback is if you miss the last ferry back you are looking at a rather long swim in the dark or a hefty cab fare.

I read he is out of contract at Stoke at the end of the season. To be honest, he would do a decent enough job starting for us probably. For whoever highlighted it, Delap despite taking throw ins for Saints when he was here had not developed "the bullet". If he was on a free and available, I think he'd be a great signing.

I will no doubt get shot down but bring Rory Delap back. For his throw ins alone he is probably worth about 10 points a season. Get him on when were losing with 10 mins to go and have him launching his throws in to the box. Yes its ugly but its very effective.

Sounds to me like enough people are getting loads in to flog outside before the game. The club has missed a trick. They should say its free until the day of the game and then charge £5 or £10 on the door on the day of the game. I reckon they'd make a nice wedge if they did that.

What a lovely gesture from Mr Cortese. Wouldnt it be fantastic though if we as a fanbase are able to raise the required about without having to ask Cortese for a contribution? Well done to all that have contributed so far. I will do so a little later on.

Perhaps the 40 man squad will all be at SMS but will be cut after for the Championships? For me, I'd have Lallana in there. He's played more competitive games than most of those and is versatile. Not a bad squad though.
