Ron, thanks, can you give me a link to the form, as I have (seemingly) looked everywhere but cannot see it (I found reference to it in FAQs but there was no obvious link) Cheers

I thought there was a period when season ticket holders could change their seat before they went on general sale. Have I missed that? No big deal just wanted to shift along one seat to the end of the row (as I know the fella there is not renewing). I did not get an option to change seat when I renewed.

Would be a step up for him, European football and all that. Always a bit mindful about taking players from teams with a habit of losing though, shows a possible lack of backbone.

This. If we won't deal with Spuds I'm not sure there is any other team that is interested/needs Victor (and don't even think they need him now). Really not convinced that he will be off, all the speculation is based on last season, not this, and hope he doesn't go, he is too important to us.

More likely Red Funnel, some free tickets to the IOW would be welcome.

At least we can still remember who we are talking about :-)

David Bull's interview with Rickie Lambert and others
VectisSaint replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
I know I've got grandchildren, but shocked that Rickie is already a granddad as well. -
The goal by Shilton clinched it, not sure I think Eric Martin is the answer to our goal keeping conundrum though, he's 70 now and probably a bit too old even to sit on the bench.

WhoScored stats are supplied by Opta. Can't really argue with any of the other names (except perhaps Gomes who has actually been outstanding behind a wobbly defence, even if some of his goalkeeping is comical at times). If you think Cedric's inclusion is because WhoScored stats are silly then presumably you think VvD is included in the same way. I wouldn't have said Cedric was the best RB this season in the PL but for a good part of it he was excellent. He is still a much better defender than Martina and also gives us more in an attacking sense (as the stats show). There is something else going on behind the scenes with Cedric, not just his ability.

Don't think Pards hates West Ham, 3 years their manager... He may not think of them as the dogs ****** but he had some good times there. Probably hates Man U though, as he comes from the wrong part of London to be a Man U supporter He does have a score to settle though, the 1990 Cup Final.
-
Even though he built that spirit up for the first four years, along with his good friend, the other massively important person no longer with us.

Gorman and Dodd (the well known comedy duo, no not Dave and Ken) and also Dean Wilkins. SCW was never a manager anywhere (of an association football club), not even the Maidenhead under 9s. He had also departed the scene before SKD signed.
-
Suspect he'll be on the pitch for kick-off, then immediately go off for a ****, and not come back on

Keeping Track of the Contracts 2024-25
VectisSaint replied to Over land and sea's topic in The Saints
No need to wander (or even wonder). Last season the Retained and Released Lists for PL clubs were announced on 10th June. -
We only played 23 games this season that could have featured on Match of the Day (Saturday or Sunday 15th May). Most of the matches we played on Sundays would have been against "top" teams and more likely we would have featured higher (not because of us but because of who we were playing). To quote Mark Hughes in that article: But we don't really bother too much about it - and I think people probably watch other football shows these days anyway, so don't read too much significance into it. Do people honestly care about MOTD these days?

Relegated Teams - Players who would you buy from their Squads?
VectisSaint replied to le_tiss's topic in The Saints
Tim Krul, possibly Wijnaldum. No-one else thank you. -
Perhaps Kelv realised that Fox was not even good enough to make it into the Promotions XI and didn't want to risk some embarrassing defensive blunders (whilst admitting that he was half decent going forward). If Chris Perry qualifies (played in the JPT but not in promotions) then so does Michail Antonio. Equally Papa Waigo and Simon Gillett?
-
No, an indirect free-kick as always if he touches the ball twice before any other player. The only small (one word) change is that the ball no longer has to go forward. The old Law 8 read: "the ball is in play when it is kicked and moves forward" The New Law 8 reads: "the ball is in play when it is kicked and clearly moves"

Theo left Saints before Kelvin joined in 2006 (hard to believe it was that long ago). Why would he be involved? Although knowing him he would have been if asked. Ox is injured so wouldn't be able to play. Shaw is injured, and only ever played in one FA Cup game in a promotion season. Chambers never played for the first team until we were in the Premier League, so doesn't qualify for Promotions XI. Pity that one or two others who were here, such as David Connolly are not participating, and the absence of Guly is a real blow and is probably having a major impact on ticket sales.

When did the Club say he was doing a Twitter? "after the Palace game", doesn't mean at 5 o'clock on Sunday. Ronald said clearly it was a week until he goes on holiday, plenty of time (he said).
-
Would probably be better if he was against him, Fox would never get near him. Best he would do would be standing, watching, hands on hips as Puncheon scores after Fox ****s up again.
-
Maybe. Then of course he may not be included tomorrow night if LVG plays the youth.
-
and Jordan Turnbull.
-
OK, so clearly you have no idea about home-trained rules for UEFA competitions. Having checked we do have Jack Stephens, Jordan Turnbull and Dom Gape who will not be u21 next season. So that would be 5, only 4 needed for UEFA, assuming we qualify of course, so guessing Issy will likely be on his way.
-
We only have jwp otherwise.
