I agree with the first part, but fail to see how the squad is stronger. I'd be interested to know how you think that the squad has been strengthened. A few injuries or suspensions like last season and we will be threadbare again. The squad is still painfully thin and would not be up to a EL campaign. The only area where we might appear stronger is GK, but that depends on Boruc playing a part as backup, maybe he will maybe he won't.

Can you let us know all the details of his contract. You know for sure that Hull are paying his wages, in full? This is nothing to do with wages. The wage bill for (just about the) smallest squad in the PL must be relatively small. Is that 15 players out since the end of last season now (not even counting Tadier).

So Neville perhaps understated our "exodus".

Steve Williams was a great player, one of my all-time favourites. But he was made to look superb by playing alongside Bally. The two of them together complemented each other perfectly and were outstanding (hesitate to use the term world class but maybe).
