I reckon between your prediction and mine lies the truth, I just hope its a bit closer to mine than yours.

On the other hand 2 defeats in 10 puts a different complexion on it.

Its not a huge gaff by the Club. The number of tickets for away supporters is governed by the FA, 15% if I recall correctly, as opposed to 10% in the PL. Where they sit is governed by the Hampshire Old Bill. Now, if you are talking about making this different in the future then I agree. But this was discussed before and many were against the obvious suggestions such as moving the away supporters to the Kingsland/Chapel corner because "it would ruin the atmosphere", in any case the OB would never agree. In my opinion we should organise for the home support to relocate to the Chapel en masse, it should have been our Kop in the first place. Maybe in time when we expand we can put the away supporters in the top tier of the Northam.

No-one (well no-one that I have noticed), the post was about Chung as well you know. At least I think you know, never quite sure with you. -
I think we will get 21 points from the next 7 league games. Easy this prediction stuff. We may even get a bonus point for winning 7 in a row.

No, no, no. He is not good enough for the PL and will be out the door in January. Have you learned nothing from the experts on this forum? -

I think you'll find that is rubbish. We have played 11 at home, as have Wigan and Newcastle and many others. Half of the teams in the league would have played 11 at home after 21 rounds of matches. The only team that hasn't played 10 at home is Arsenal because they wimped out of their Boxing Day match. -

Sounds like it was a pen in that case. -

Apart from Chelsea twice, so do half of the other teams in the league. That's how leagues tend to work. -

We didn't play our best team, but we still played Fonte who we could not afford to lose. Stupid by NA if you ask me. -

I said the other day the player that we should rest was Fonte. We could not afford to have him injured, no proper backup at the mo. -

J-Rod. If he hadn't scored they would not have equalised. -
Everyone up to and including Wet Sham are in a relegation fight. Newcastle are a fair bet for relegation based on their current form, depends what happens post Ba.

Usually I jump up and down in my Santa outfit and ginger wig, foam hand in the air, shouting "take that you Skate bastards (whoever we are playing) and then I do a little Gangnam Style to round off the celebration. I get some disapproving looks from some of our "fans" who believe no-one should enjoy themselves in an inappropriate way that might harm the reputation of Southampton but i don't give a toss. [Anyone who really knows me will appreciate the irony of this post]

No we didn't. We signed Jos on loan on 31 Aug 11 because we were desperately short of CBs (1 experienced and 2 youngsters). Bloody good job we did as well otherwise we would have been ****ged. For 1 whole day we had 4, and then Seaborne suffered his injury so we were back to 3 again. We bought Jos 3 months later after he had proved he was a decent CB. From that point on Aaron was 3rd choice CB and played frequently and was very effective when called upon by NA.

On what basis? If he wasn't a fan why did he allow Martin to sign a new 3 year contract at the beginning of the 2011-12 season, when he had clearly seen enough of him during his year in charge. Then he played him 17 times during the Champ season (including cup games). Martin looked decent certainly good enough for the Championship and was a more than adequate stand-in for Jos or Jose when needed. Of course lacks experience, but for a CB 23 is still young. Needs some regular game time, no idea what went wrong at Palace, but for whatever reason his face did not fit. Think he may still have a future with Saints in the longer term, and is certainly a better CB than Seaborne will ever be (in my opinion). I guess he will go out on loan again when a suitable club is found, then we will see what becomes of him next season (depending of course where we are).

I understand he is suffering from cold shoulder. He caught it from Boruc and Lee.
-
Leaves the U21s a bit light for when they start the elite section games. He is our top scorer in what has become this year a decent competition. Is he better off playing against L1 opposition or Premier League fringe players, not sure any more.

I don't think they need any help. 10 point deduction will see to that anyway, and the way things are going won't actualy have any impact (again).

Absolutely right. Joe Jordan on the other hand...
