Did I? What label was that then? Can't see any label of any sort in my post.

You do talk some twaddle, another of the deluded few who still think they are at primary school and that everyone is in their gang or the other gang. Who are these mythical people you seem to want to "keep in check". Just because some people do not want to have a pop at the club for any trivial reason. Who really gives a toss whether the club has a supporters charter on the web site or not. I don't recall ever looking for a club charter during the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s or even the noughties, I just went along to watch the footy and support my team. Supporters charters, just another sign of the namby pamby nature of the game these days.

My response specifically referred to "on loan".

No real surprise to see who is raising this issue. Every negative that can be found will be found by certain posters.

Dickson is in the squad, see http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/saints-submit-squad-list-354115.aspx I actually find it hard to believe that we would not play him because it might cost us £25k, maybe in past incarnations of Saints, but not now. Just don't think this is the reason. The simple fact is that he is not good enough, wasn't good enough in the Championship let alone the PL. Guess we just haven't found a club willing to take him on loan as yet, that will probably change once a few teams start to get a few injuries/suspensions.
-
He wasn't on international duty. Does anyone really know what he did or are we just trying to find a new scapegoat to replace Guly?

Richardson had a great game on Saturday, but we must have Clyne back on the right for Everton to counteract Baines/Pienaar. I would play Yosh at LB, he is able to play at LB, and has the pace but not the height to counteract Fellaini. Everton are **** hot down their left, not so potent on their right (Neville). I would go Gazza (or Boruc if fit/available), Clyne, Fonte, Jos, Yosh, Davis, Spiderman, Punch, Ramirez, Lallana, Lambert

Not strictly true, he played in the JPT against Crawley, which Crawley lost 3-2, so he must be improving form his usual "four past".

Sorry, but they were absolutely shocking, 4 attacks in the whole game, scored one from a blunder by Jose. Posed no threat but managed a spell of 10 minutes when they kept possession well but offered no threat. One of the worst performances I have ever seen from a winning team, on the day they looked like a poor L1 team. One brilliant goal (which it really wasn't, it was just poor defending) does not mean they played well by any stretch of the imagination.
-
And to think we played them when they were horrific and still managed to lose.
-
Yes, about 8 minutes ago, still 0-0

Misunderstanding, apparently not on his twitter account, it seems none of the panel of elite referees is on social media, which seems eminently sensible of them.
-
I will not condone what was allegedly tweeted about Halsey, but you have to be some sort of dickhead to be a PL referee and to have a public twitter account. Re the suggestions to play Boruc tomorrow, he was signed on Saturday subject to international clearance, suspect it may not have come through yet, in which case he can't play anyway. He has had no pre-season because he has been out of contract so probably not fit, certainly not Saints fit. He looked like he was feeling the cold on Saturday wearing 2 or 3 coats, so may not be ready for an appearance on a cold Autumn evening. Think Gazza should play, after all he certainly doesn't deserve to be dropped after Saturday, and needs to build up experience. Would like to know if Chung is fit, if so he really needs to play. I would not risk any of our first choice CBs tomorrow.

Wotton missed the second, but someone else missed the first, possibly McGoaldrought

I recall a couple of years back when Whisky George was being discussed before I put together stats for games played with and without Snodin. Without Snodin GB's stats were poor to say the least. Don't know now where the numbers are. But anyone who tries to put a good spin on GB's time at Saints is seeing his time through rose tinted spectacles, he was awful, and in the end completely embarrassing.
-
I think they were confused because his shirt says Gaston. They probably did not realise it was the same person.
-
No LB, that's all..
-
Looks very laid back, confident. Not much to trouble him today though to be fair. But he will have to improve his kicking, didn't find touch once, needs to study Kelv's technique.
-
We debated this before (ad nauseum), and as I pointed out if there was such a rule Norwich would be in breach of it this season. No-one has found any evidence such a rule exists. I will try to find a link to a non-existent rule for egg but it may take me some time :-)
-
Usual stupid stat, we have only played them 4 times at St Marys, drawn 2 lost 2. Did it mention we have not lost to Villa in the League for 7 years? Looking forward to today, think we will win, probably 2-1, just hope we play like we did against the Mancs, and not how we did against Wigan.
-
This is a myth, there is no such rule.
-
Do we think Harry will be manager by Xmas
VectisSaint replied to Miltonroader07's topic in The Saints
Agreed, more likely now that it will be George Burley -
Appointing Burley was a mistake, but letting Snodin go was a much bigger one. Snodin made Burley and us look decent, his departure meant Whisky George was shown up for what he was, washed up. Bit like Hoddle without Gorman.
