Jacob Maddox on loan with view to permanent signing in summer
VectisSaint replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
Isn't that because he joined as assistant to Rahdi, who has subsequently been moved sideways to the US. So now Horseman is Coach. -
Not included in the current 'protocol' according to Dermot

To be fair, several teams have competed against them recently, they have not been at their best (I didn't see the Wham game so can't comment). Late winners or grinding out a result is Liverpool at the moment. Shrews even got a draw against their U11 Girls team.

Cedric Soares - Official: Loaned to Arsenal
VectisSaint replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
Doesn't seem to have affected his attitude negatively for the last few months. He would still have been trying t o impress up to June if someone hadn't come in for him now, perhaps even more so. I don't think attitude is a factor at all. I think there is more to the KWP situation than currently bein said, reckon we have a deal for him in the Summer already sorted based on Ralph's comments in the Presser. -
Exactly as expected when his appointment was announced.
-
Apparently he is not alone at Spurs, Gazzanigga on same. Mind you, its about double what Yan Valery is on. All according to this site, make of it what you will: https://www.spotrac.com/epl/tottenham-hotspur-f.c/payroll/

Cedric Soares - Official: Loaned to Arsenal
VectisSaint replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
What came across is that there seems little doubt that we are developing KWP for the future at Saints. Sounds to me like we have already agreed a deal, but for some reason don't want to make it permanent until the Summer. -
Signed a new 3 year contract in 2019 which takes him to June 2023. £1.04m per year (£20k per week).
-
Let's hope so, the thought of JWP up against Andy Robertson is not very appealing. Would have my doubts though given Valery has only been back in training since Monday.
-
Good, rather quashes the rumours that he was still injured. is it just me or does he look like Nathaniel Clyne's younger brother?
-
Maybe we can't afford his wages. I read he is on £100k,not sure I believe that but there you are. He's also not fit to play yet, and not eligible for the Spurs replay. Will he be ready for Burnley on 15/2? The blurb from the club says he is being brought in to strengthen, but how can that be if Cedric is being loaned to Arse? Something just doesn't add up here. Happy to see Kyle Leonardus join but not sure what is going on and whether it makes sense.

Cedric Soares - Official: Loaned to Arsenal

10 at least after the end of Feb, more if we are still in the Cup. Supposed to be back sooner than that anyway. -
The sell on clause will help ?
-
Bit worried about how many on here have mates who are Spurs fans. Do you have no pride or self esteem?
-
I don't think we would be going for KWP and supposedly still be interested in Frimpong if there was any chance of Cedric staying. Think this activity is a strong indication that he will be playing elsewhere. Shame, but some of the forum experts say he is crap so guess it must be true.
-
Level headed Spurs supporters. You're having a laugh. ?
-
That would be the FA Premier League, would it? The Premier League is part of the FA. Although it is run separately the FA have powers of veto over PL rule changes. Sounds to me like left hand and right hand. The FA Cup replays should be before or after the break (if there is going to be one). The FA should have thought this through when they planned the dates for the Cup.
-
Will this still happen if we sign KWP though, which seemingly is now likely? Assuming Cedric moves on, we still have Valery who you would think would be backup for KWP. I suspect Frimpong was an alternative target and will now be passed over.

Saints v Spurs (FA Cup) Match & Reactions Thread
VectisSaint replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
He can play LB, not RB. -
No they wouldn't. He is having, at last, a purple patch. But it wasn't that long ago he was playing awfully. All most pundits do is peddle the myth of him being the great set piece specialist.
