Boruc was good on Saturday, but still spilled a straight forward Weimann effort, that Yoshida bailed him out on by reacting quickly to clear. I do think having Boruc in goal helped when Villa were putting us under pressure - Kelvin might have cracked.

Playing at the top level gives us the chance to keep and sign top players. What I don't understand is people saying they would rather we be in League One again. Rolling over teams like Gillingham and Hartlepool with players such as James, Mills, Trotman etc was ok for a couple of seasons and it was nice to go to some new grounds and cheaper games, but it would have grown tiresome in the end.

Liverpool have a 35% sell on fee on Ince, so would re-coup some of the money if they signed him. Still poor business though if they were to buy him back.

Bristol looks a great shout. Seen train for £15 return to Bristol and flight is £48 from Bristol to Newcastle return. Times fit aswell... Assuming it would be a Sunday game.

I was thinking of flying to Newcastle Friday morn and come back Sunday lunchtime, but the cheapest I can find is £198 per person (return). I'm sure I've seen people fly there for £70 odd before?
