No doubt we'll screw up our next two games. Every time we get a good opportunity to catch up we blow it.
-
Haven't bothered with Brighton in previous years, so will go this year just so I can have the withdean 'experience' before they move to their new ground.
-
I think we'll get 19 points. Don't know if that'll be enough.

The commentator keeps saying that saints were 3-0 up against posh in the 4-4 draw.
-
Shocking goalkeeping by Lewis. Mackenzie with key contributions at both ends - good defensive header and now a goal.
-
Mk are really struggling to string passes together.

I prefer this thread to the post match reaction thread - more sensible posts and less drama queens.

Do you suffer from depression? It WAS a freak result - we created numerous opportunities and played more than well enough to win the game, but were denied by some heroic defending and goalkeeping - how about giving the other team some credit instead of speculating that it was down to our performance that we didn't win. Walsall rarely troubled us and but for a huge jaidi cock up we'd have a clean sheet.
-
Really unlucky today - tried playing nice football in first half, lambert in particular with some great link up play - some half decent efforts on goal from schneiderlin, barny and lambert. Went more direct in the second half to find success and created even more - denied by some heroic blocks and saves from walsall back 5. Some real drama queens after game saying want a refund on season ticket etc - jeez... Just one if those days. For people asking it was jaidi at fault for the goal - abysmal header back to Davis that put macken clean through.

That was Oakley. Kosowski did score in the away game at Hull though!
-
Sorry I meant most games he features in. And I agree with your point, Jaidi hasn't got much left in the tank so Adkins needs to decide in the summer whether he thinks seaborne is a regular or not.
-
IMO he looks comfortable most games, but again most of those are home games where we have to defend less than 3 opposition attacks all game, or games where long ball is played and he can win the ball easily. Any game in which the other team gives a good go at attacking or he comes up against a half decent striker he seems to struggle.
-
I wouldn't say losing any of them would make them weaker as neither garner, croft or Robinson were first team/didn't make an impact when they did play. Jordan Rhodes ankle injury for at least three weeks however...
-
Didn't listen on radio, who had our two good chances? Sounded like Adkins wasn't very happy with Schneiderlin? was he particularly poor?
-
any mention on Puncheon?

Lallana is our best player at creating space, whether for himself to get a decent ball into the box, or for someone else to make a killer pass. Without Lallana in the side we seem struggle to create as many clear cut chances and have more speculative efforts or chances that are easy to deal with.

Fonte should have cleared according to SSN.

Having a bid accepted doesn't mean we're closing in though - just because Swindon are happy with the offer doesn't mean Austin is. Misleading thread title.

BBC annoyed with Daily Echo over Saints coverage

Best reports are in the football league paper. -
Thought a draw was a fair result. We played quite well first half, but I thought lallana could have done better in his decision making - there was a great opportunity for him to bend one in the top corner 1st half and he passed. and then had 2 men to pass to and skied his shot (also him and guly mucked up at the end). gave too much space to Brighton second half schneiderlin bit sloppy and jaidi - someone teach him to pass! Dickson, Hammond and Davis the pick of the bunch for me - good interception by Richardson second half too.

Martyn woolford as replacement from S****horpe someone was suggesting?
