  1. Even better, mate, it said "trains from Parkway to the ground." Didn't it? Did I dream that?
  2. Good times! Good news. If we can get Chambo to commit too, I'm happy to close the transfer window straight away. I know Chambo has only just signed professional forms but a statement from him that he will commit for a couple of years will be all I/we need to hear.
  3. I'm on 606 and I don't BS. This one above was from Rocket. Let's wait and see, shall we?
  4. Signed, sealed, delivered, he's ours!!!! http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2254344,00.html
  5. "The heart is more treachorous than anything else and is desparate. Who can know it?" I think we should all just take a moment to consider that.
  6. Tommy Forecast? Appearances can be deceptive.
  7. OK, not just me then. I logged in like 10 times and still no content to view. Booo ...
  8. Free the leftback 1 !!!! I think we all suspect we know who it is, but no-one wants to say his name.
  9. +1 :-) (huh, message too short?)
  10. Davis Butterfield - Fonte - Seaborne - Harding Oxo - Schneiderlin - Chaplow - Lallana Guly Barnard Doble on the bench to replace either of the front 2, depending how its going.
  11. I can tell you its in the scouting report. I can't say much, as someone's employment as scout depends on his anonymity. He is employed by Huddersfield FC, but is a Saints fan, . He told me he had to report on potential weaknesses in the Saints setup and his report was used by Lee Clark to take advantage of our setup. He felt sick that he had to write it. We need to have someone doing homework on our opponents in the same way Mr X is for Huddersfield. Maybe we already do?
  12. What? Better than Lee Holmes? You think?
  13. Oh I wouldn't agree with that. It makes me laugh.
  14. The ONLY website on the whole tinternet that I can get on right now is ... er, this one! That's a good sign for the new server on here.
  15. I would doubt it. It's like buying a dress one week and then finding it in the sale the next week. (That has happened to me countless times) The shop won't give you a refund, will they? I'm sure the Club's response will be 'tough titty' although I'd be surprised if they used that phrase.
  16. OK, what do we do here? (as there won't be a charge against him until December) Do we say 'he's innocent until proven guilty', support him if he plays in the team, and cheer his every touch? Or do we take the moral high ground as we know the minimum is 'drunk in the early hours, involved in affray' - that's a minimum. On that basis do we want the club to suspend or de-select the player(s)? Is his head going to be right? Can he give of his best with this hanging over him? Of course, I keep writing 'we'. By this I mean 'the Club'. As fans, we have no decision to take. What decision do we think it is right for Adkins and Cortese to take at this stage?
  17. A bit disappointing its not available on the day! Apart from living in ... (well, you can tell where I live), I'm working in Basingstoke, commuting by train, so I really can't get to SMS before Friday night. Can we book over the phone or online? Or is it in person only? Are they trying to move fans away from walk-up to committed?? I like to be a walk-up as I have to factor in my son's homework workload, what the missus is doing, and the weather! I get there as often as I can when all indicators are 'go for it'.
  18. We have options with our existing squad for one of the AMs to play just behind Lambert (Lallana and Guly come to mind). I'd also he happy to get a good striker in on loan anyway, with the cloud over Barnard and Connolly more out than in.
  19. In related news .. well, kind of .... Southend want to send Matt Paterson out on loan. How about it? Cover for Lambert and Barnard.
  20. I agree with Ludwig and Deppo. I frowned at the original post. One was a tragedy, one a business decision and the final an act of stupidity. None of them are related to "luck."
  21. Just heights. Have tried to overcome by going up Spinnaker Tower and the London Eye, but they have reinforced my terror. I don't spend money going up high places any more, just a waste of money and I end up hyper-ventilating and having to be rescued by paramedics bearing oxygen. Absolutely love flying in planes though! The missus remarks that its odd I'm happy at 30,000 feet but a wreck at 1,000 feet. I like to think I'm just "special". Don't like marmite either, but that's hardly a phobia.
  22. finished 0-0. I was hoping the strikers were banging them in, to give us options for the first team.
  23. Booo! Come on, Nate, you'd love it down here.
