  1. Very much looking forward to the day he goes on strike to force his move to Barcelona or Madrid. Great player when he applies himself, nowhere near the finished article yet. 75mil is outrageous.
  2. I prefer it when Saints are sh*t, ranting on a message board gives me more than a semi
  3. He's still got it
  4. That's what happens when you allow an incompetent manager to destroy your very talented squad, and then hire an equally terrible manager straight after.
  5. 3-1 to Spurs but we will take the lead after a promising start. Romeu will play well finally, Davis will have another shocker, and Ward-Prowse will again be paid money for playing football.
  6. and a Merry New Year!
  7. The board know they already made two horrendous mistakes last season. Firstly appointing the woeful Puel who turned out to be worse than any of us could have ever expected. The second big mistake was not getting shot of him sooner. They'll be very nervous now about getting the Pellegrino sacking wrong. Trouble is, after Puel utterly destroyed this squad, you have to ask yourself who could do a better job than Pellegrino? Sure he is making bad tactical errors and his substitutions are poor, but even Guardiola would have had trouble with the Saints job after the mess Puel left this club in. What a pathetic decision it was to hire that clown. #worldclassmanager
  8. The stories about Paul Clement and that now infamous frying pan were completely blown out of proportion and I've heard from people at Swansea City that most of what was reported was absolute bull****.
  9. What makes you think that anything Swansea do will have an affect on our inevitable relegation? We are down regardless. This forum amazes me it really does
  10. Denying the inevitable doesn't help anybody. It's fine, relegation won't kill you, no need to have a fit about it. Breathe, relax, and enjoy the journey. The Championship will be fun FFS!
  11. We'll need to keep the likes of Austin, Stephens, Yoshida, Pied, and Redmond for our Championship battle next season. They're all players who should thrive down there and will help us to avoid slipping down into League 1 at the first attempt. We should also keep Pellegrino too, this squad was destroyed by Puel not Mauricio. Whilst it's disappointing that this season is now a write off it's important to remember the great times we had down in the lower leagues. So it's definitely not all doom and gloom, I for one am pumped about it. Just try and enjoy what's left of this season and get ready for a few years down in the proper leagues. We'll come back stronger.
  12. Puel speaks English you silly sausage. It was his horrendous managerial abilities people were upset with.
  13. Redmond and Gabbiadini upfront. Pellegrino must be drunk, that's the only explanation.
  14. With relegation now confirmed I hope the lads will now go out and play with freedom. Might even sneak a point if that's the case.
  15. Fans call for the sacking of the worst manager we've had in decades shocker
  16. The infamous alleged incident between Stephens, Radhi Jaidi and Les Reed at the Grand Harbour last year means it's no surprise Jack wants to leave. If what Jack's family has said is true, then frankly Jaidi and Reed should be sacked immediately. No young lad, and in fact no human being, deserves that kind of humiliation and embarrassment. It was sickening to read the details and any father would feel the same. Again nothing has been proved yet but once it goes to court next year we will then find the truth.
  17. Statements like "Puel had us playing some of the best football I've seen us play in years" and "Puel is a worldclass manager" are why this forum will never, ever get boring. The best comedians in the world couldn't come up with stuff like that.
  18. It's certainly an interesting one. The man is a top bloke with a great sense of humour and his media skills are possibly the best the club has had for many a year. I think though the reason the vast majority don't like to see him on the pitch is just because he's such an atrocious footballer. But at least he brings the fanbase together! That's precisely what we need right now, unity. You're probably looking at about 0.5% of our fans who go to games rate him as a player. We haven't had that kind of mass agreement on something as a fanbase for years! Long may that continue.
  19. Stephens, Hojberg both brilliant. Redmond how much is he being paid? No idea what he is on but it needs to be far, far less. Ward-Prowse woeful but that's a given. Bizarre tactics to sit back from the 45th minute. Pellegrino really is naive.
  20. Going back a fair few years I know but I'm pretty sure Allan Druval was born in Southampton or was it Winchester?
  21. The worst part about all this is that that fella has a daughter. Poor lass.
  22. IT'S THE BIG ONE!!
  23. We'll lose to Belgium, beat Tunisia 1-0 and draw 0-0 with Panama. The bookies have already started paying out on that, it's so set in stone.
  24. We'll beat Bournemouth and get a point against Huddersfield. 4 points from 7 games in December is of course the most we can hope for and it's more likely we'll only get 1, but that's not a disaster. Whilst it will confirm our relegation the most important thing is that we stay together as a fanbase for next season's battle against the drop in the Championship. It's a bloody hard league to survive in and we need at all costs to avoid the double drop down to League 1. That's what the club will be focusing on now.
  25. Not ashamed to say that statement from Redmond brought a tear to my eye. That is what being a football fan is all about. Magical stuff.
