  1. Chelsea out, City out, Spurs out, us out. The FA Cup is anyone's. Bradford score again! We've blown a big chance to win this cup.
  2. Come on Saints!
  3. If, big if, Chelsea and City go out this will be a bigger defeat for us as the competition is winnable. Come on Saints, get the equaliser!
  4. Got to sign a striker this window surely, Gallagher and JRod long term injured and who knows when they'll be back and fit, Long now badly injured, and Mayuka shirt. Can't rely on Pellé forever. Will be a mistake not bringing one in, even a loan.
  5. +1. Still don't want the replay but don't want to go out either. Torn. **** it I'll take the replay! Skates losing.
  6. I assume we'd have Yoshida back by then?
  7. Bertrand at centre back? Lord. Protecting Gardos against a red card then.
  8. I personally don't want to see us taken to a replay, it'd be hard enough to win at Selhurst Park not to mention the having an extra game with suspensions and injuries possible. Either we go all out to score twice or more or make sure we don't accumulate any injuries or suspensions and okay cautiously. However knowing Koeman we'll be going for it second half.
  9. Fraser Forster can he kick it Fraser Forster yes he can. To the tune of Bob The Builder. Get it sung.
  10. My two cup sets of the day... ...biggest will be Brighton overturning Arsenal, and Fulham to beat Sunderland. Might have a quid on that. Romance of the cup and all that.
  11. I'm going with the big penis criteria for this. Big Vic, Mané, Elia and JWP. (As JWP hails from Portsmouth his tackle my be mutated.)
  12. According to the Deloitte football money list for the 2013-14 season. Hope I'm reading it right, very tired, I assume it's income based. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30915985 I would think that we'd be higher up in the 2014-15 list.
  13. Off to Real Madrid then.... Meh, we have Harrison Reed.
  14. I want this to be a Chelsea vs Sheffield United final. It won't be but that'd be cool. Liverpool are playing well but... ....goal for Sterling. Damn.
  15. Still doesn't have as much crap in it as Fratton Park...
  16. I'd love a stadium that looked like this...
  17. 1988, and my parents needed a bit of extra cash, so they let out their spare room to a student. I was 8 and Berkshire born and bred, so besides holidays in Hampshire and Dorset, I had nothing to do with Southampton. The student was from Southampton, and was so passionate about them that it rubbed off on me. In 1989 when I started second school I adopted them as my team, I've been here ever since.
  18. Left trying to get tickets for this too long. Oh well. A weekend of SaintsWeb and masturbating it is.
  19. Dan Harding! Always liked him. Covered right back superbly in the JPT final. I was also one of the "pro-Antonio" people.
  20. He has etched himself into a piece of Saints history. 20 years from now we'll be looking at the newly published "All The Saints" (You'll still be going Fitzhugh! ) and reminiscing about our League One days, and remembering the manager that guided us straight through two divisions back to the promised land. Of course by then we'll have won 3 Champions Leagues, 11 Premier Leagues, 6 FA Cups whilst marvelling how Harrison Reed is still going at 39 (the best midfielder of his generation) and marvelling that we have MLT's super talented grandson coming through the academy and enjoying the surrounds or our new 250,000 seater stadium, the Liebherr Bowl.
  21. I'd still rather have kept Arsenal as far behind us as possible but they took their chances well, and being only 5 points behind a Toure-less City is intriguing...
  22. He's a good player, not brilliant but good. He seems to have good awareness on the ball, his assist yesterday was excellent, and his free kicks are very well executed. I agree he needs to add goals to his game, and then he'll be a good little attacking midfielder to complement Reed at DM, otherwise known as "the future". He'll only get better too with experience. Look at Lallana, who improved year on year. No wonder other teams' covet him.
  23. Steven Davis has to be up there. Also Clyne.
  24. All very well thinking positive but IMO City and Chelsea are battling in a league of their own. Them taking 3 points off Arsenal gives our top 4 hopes a boost. Yes we should be concentrating on our own games, and of we deserve top 4 we'll get there under our own steam, but it doesn't hurt having our top 4 rivals losing valuable points.
