  3. Looking ok now. Whatever the score today, I've seen positive signs that we'll be ok. Solidify that central defence and add a bit more creativity and we'll be fine.

  5. JWP's set pieces are excellent. And he chases everything, and his passing is good. But he doesn't offer us much creatively. Wanyama, Bertrand, Tadic and Davis all look good. Morgan grew into the game. Pelle needs help though.

  7. Ha, Johnson is playing at left back. Clyne is going to rape him.

  9. Looking forward to this in a masochistic way. I'm pleased Schneiderlin starts, we need the game of his life from him, not a crappy half hearted display. Noy a bad line up overall, but woefully lacking in creativity IMO. Need another quick creative option in that line up. I hope JWP becomes the player we all think he can.

  11. Job: Customer Service Assistant Multi-Functional for LUL Industry: Travel Approx Annual salary before tax without bonus: More than I'm worth. Typical bonus: None, but we just strike for more money. Approx take home after tax: More than my wife, which is why we have separate bank accounts. Approximate location: Within the M25, about 30' below the surface of the earth. Years of working experience directly relevant to your job: 11 but it feels like an eternity. Level of education: A-Levels, but they were cack because I was lazy. I also have an NVQ in competency. Whatever that's worth. Additional job perks e.g. company car/shares: Free London travel for me and my wife, which we rarely use as we don't live in London. Oh, and Too much leave. Typical hours worked per week: 35-37, more if there's overtime available.

  13. I personally don't think we'll drop a point all season. So I'll roll the six points over to next season and take them against Barcelona in the Champions League.
  14. Reporter of the Spurs match report on the BBC website made a right bluff. In Pochettino's post-game quotes, it said that 'it is possible that Southampton will appeal the Naughton red card.' It's now been corrected...
  15. The photo is all blurry except for his head. Weird...
  16. Perhaps his head is in Southampton...
  17. And celebrated by showing he's not a fat lad. Well done Billy.
  18. Lawro didn't, so that's ok.
  19. All I know is... Clyne is better than Johnson. I know nothing of Manquillo though. Respect to Clyne though for not following the wantaways. He's good enough to play for big club IMO.
  20. Both home games Saints suffer from Legionnaires disease after the opposition wee into the club's water supply. We're resorted to a back 5 of Gazzaniga, McCarthy, Stephens, Hooiveld and Targett. After brave performances we lose 5-4 in both games. But both away wins are 10-0. Long scores all 20.
  21. Can I take 3 from Liverpool and 3 from Spurs? Both away wins? I suppose Koeman getting one over against the great Van Gaal would be sweet too.
  22. Every QPR player will at some stage of the season be referred to as a 'good boy' by Redknapp. Even Ferdinand who's old.

    Results day

I muffed up my A Levels, as was expected TBF, although I did better than my predicted grades. I'd lost all love of learning in sixth form and just wanted a job. Thinking I'd missed out on a uni place (and not being fussed) I went and got a job. I eventually got a call from one of my unis (Brunel in Uxbridge) saying that I could go there, but only if I did a joint English/Music degree. I'd been on scholarships all through my school life for music, but ended up hating it and just wanted to do English. Still, through parental pressure I accepted the joint degree and a place at Brunel. I hated it. Many reasons. I dropped out 8 months later and went and got my job back, and I've been happily working ever since. I've since learned not to force any children I may bear to do anything they don't want to do.

    Solly March.

Solly March! Cracking name. Sounds like something a Chinese man would say to Homer Simpson's wife after insulting her.
