  1. I want Pochettino to take Osvaldo to WHL. The ensuing bust up between Osvaldo and Lamela would at least provide some entertainment next season! (Oh, and chuck Fonte in the mix for a truly tasty concoction.)
  2. I see Costel Pantillimon is out of contract at Man City this summer. Despite Osvaldo scoring a screamer against him, for a free he'd be good competition for Boruc. What say you lot?
  3. Expectations may need to be lowered a tad this summer...
  4. I still think Felix Magath would do well in the short term. Bags of experience and actually showed signs of turning Fulham around although his appointment came far too late. Showed faith in youngsters like Woodrow and Burn too.
  5. We're going to need a lot of transfers, so we either need a "name" or someone with an extensive knowledge of players, either domestically or abroad. Then we need someone who is a good man manager. Finally we need someone that plays an attractive style of football. Simples. >>
  6. I'll just be pleased the sooner all this gets sorted and we get a new manager. It needs to be ASAP to give the new man the time to bed, and start sorting out the unenviable job of player ins and outs. If Pochettino stays, I wonder whether his heart would be in it or whether he'd be waiting for the next chance to jump ship. Lets hope we don't drag our heels on the replacement.
  7. This. We've had 129 years of ups and downs, I suggest the OP either get used to it or support a club where wins and positivity occur most weeks. This is an ill-judged thread from a youngster, after all it's not like we've actually heard anything yet...
  8. I think Moyes would have a point to prove. He was doing a good job at Everton, the UTD job was just beyond him, especially following Sir Alex. He's not my preferred choice but he wouldn't be a bad option.
  9. Did you change your top deliberately? :-)
  10. Wanyama to Portsmouth for 96 million. They're going to be financially buggered after that.
  11. One thread shuts and an exact replica opens. Confused.com. Doesn't seem much point...
  12. If he does over the summer he might find himself in the shyte. interesting to see how Austin adapts to the Premier League though.
  13. DG absolutely nailed it there! What complete toss.
  14. Yep. Sure. ****ing Redknapp you lucky twitchy *****titted ****face.
  15. Looking like it. Derby just need to concentrate and be patient. If QPR do want to win it'll probably be a shoot out. Come on Derby!
  16. And a Saturday evening announcement that Pochettino is staying put. #ifcarlsbergdidsaturdays
  17. Derby been by far the better side. Just need that one clear cut chance to win this...
  18. O Neill sent off. Makes this more interesting...
  19. Ex Skate! But he does run well with the ball. Hughes for definite. Will be a Premier League player in the future. Big potential.
  20. That QPR team is quite something, and their bench is strong too. Failure for them to win today would highlight how **** of a coach Redknapp is. Still think they will win but I'll be quietly routing for Derby.
  21. Huge shame they hadn't had time to deploy the life raft. With the storms they had to put up with they didn't stand a chance. RIP to all the sailors, and huge condolances to Scotty's next door neighbour's best mate and the families and friends involved.
  22. On one hand, I want Derby to win, as it'll be an easier chance for 6 points next season than IMO QPR would. On the other, Derby have some tasty youngsters I want Saints to pilfer, so hope they don't go up. On the third hand (yes I have three, the third hand looks like a fist) I dislike QPR and think they're a poorly run club. Derby to win please, though I think QPRs experience may be telling.
  23. This week, he will be mostly wearing... Issy Miyake!
  24. Ask me at the end of the summer.
