Somewhat lighthearted thread here... Saints sell everyone and need to put together a team from the fan base. What strengths and weaknesses could YOU bring to the SFC first team? Me? Well I'm 33, but with the heart of a 20 year old. (In that I like booze and fags, nothing Jack Wilshere wouldn't do.) I'm a midfielder. I sit in the middle of the pitch and dictate play. (I literally sit there and yell at the other players.) How about you?

Hull have had a bid accepted for Harry Maguire. He'd be a great addition for us IMO. Centre back, young, lots of potential. Looked composed when I've seen him (which granted isn't a lot). Has interested Man Utd in the past. If he joins Hull, they're starting to put together a neat little side.

For those that think we will go down, it's the obvious insurance policy, but I maintain there are still worse teams than us in this league. Lower mid-table IMO, but I'd be tempted to take the Dalek's-special of 17th right now...

We look pretty open to me. Boruc even laid a poo baby and Liverpool bid £10 million for it. There's not a lot left to sell. We need to spend spend spend. Or don't, and FM 2015 will start us off with one hell of a budget.

Hate to say it but I can see Chambers, Morgan and Osvaldo going still, though I'm not fussed about the latter. The former two will hurt. Morgan would be a club legend if he stayed but it's doubtful with Arsenal sniffing around. Clyne and Fonte will probably stay, but would anyone risk signing Jay? Who knows. It'd calm a lot of people down though, myself included, if we saw a few 'ins' by Friday.

I said up to 7 and I stand by that. I do still hold hope that we go on a signing spree though. My faith in the club rests on replacing those players we've lost and strengthening every position. Koeman has a hell of a job on his hands.
