I was more worried about the car! :-D
-
Ooh I had a driving one today, although it was with the missus I suppose it could happen with anyone. "Is anything coming your side?" "No, clear." I go to pull out. "Wait, I meant after the next car." Fkin say that then! I'm sure something similar happened with the two planes that crashed on the Tarmac in Tenerife in the 70s.

I would sell Shaw if it meant we kept everyone else. In an ideal world we keep everyone we wish to, but will that happen? The one player we can Ill afford to lose though is Lallana. Virtually Irreplaceable. JRod will probably still be here next season now, surely he'd fail any medical he went on, so that's a plus. IMO we will get rid of Osvaldo, sell Ramirez, end Jos and Guly's association with the club, and probably lose Shaw to big money. After that, we wait and see. Lovren may be sought after, as would be Morgan and Adam. We need stability this summer like never before, and that would mean keeping Pochettino IMO. Whatever happens, we will a) still have a core of a decent side, whatever happens, and b) have lots of money to sign replacement players. So no point getting too negative just yet.

If Magath keeps Fulham up, when mere weeks ago most people (me included) had written them off, he'd be a contender surely...

Palace aren't safe yet is IMO it's too early, especially as the title hasn't been decided either, but currently it's Rogers, Martinez, Pulis.

Me: "What's for dinner love?" Her: "I'm doing a Parsnip and Pancetta Tagliatelle with Garlic Ciabatta. It's your turn to do dinner tomorrow." Me: "Fish and Chips it is then." True Story. Very little annoys me about Mrs SNSUN. Not shabby after 8 years together. I'm too placid.

It riles my wife that she sees more of Saints live than Norwich. I'm also incredibly lazy when it comes to housework. I get moaned at daily for that. She has mild OCD so I know the housework will get done eventually. Shes a a light sleeper too. The second she snores I wake her up. She hates that. Especially as I sometimes snore but am a deep sleeper so nothing wakes me. TBF I'm a divorce waiting to happen! Still I must be doing something right...

Man Utd sweep idea - how many years until they're back in the Champions League?

Everyone who doesn't support Southampton is a ****. Portsmouth fans more so, because those ****s smell of fish. I hope I've argued my point rationally, coherently and with dignity.

Does anyone know how she died yet? Apparently she posted a picture of her mum on Twitter before she died. Suicide? Could have been going through some deep seated depression. RIP Peaches. It's always the children that lose out at times like this.

Very sad for Jay. Had a cracking season too. I hope this wasn't his best chance to go to the World Cup. Get well soon a Jay. Silver lining? Ummm, perhaps that means we get to keep him for next season... -
Far too late. He's a poor manager, as I've stated before on the main board. Nice bloke, but tactically inept, and woefully underachieving with the money that got spent in the summer. Still, this sacking is too late, they should have done it weeks ago. Norwich have one easily winnable game left against Fulham (although they scored a cracking win yesterday) and have Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool as their last 4 games. The gap between Norwich and the bottom 3 looks big, but Sunderland have two games in hand, and should Fulham win at home against them, they'll only be one point behind. Incidentally if Magath somehow keeps Fulham up, it'll be one of the managerial feats of all time. I can't see it, I still think Sunderland are more likely to pull out of the relegation zone, but we'll see.

Que sera sera. If I worried about everything that might happen, I'd go nuts. The way i see it, even if we do lose our stars in the summer we'll be financially recompensed for them, and we will still have a core of a good side whoever remains. Ok, we may not hit the heights of this season, but it's hard to see a relegation battle from where we are now.

That doesn't always matter. I was taught by a mate to look at form but I still win more money on horses I pick out at random for whatever reason. The Rainbow Hunter got the rest of my money. Good Luck to all.

With the right training Redmond can go on to become a good player, so yes please. Hughton is a poor manager, if Norwich stay up it will be through sheer luck - with the money he splashed out in the summer, he's massively underachieving. Crap tactics too, largely relying on the talents of each individual player and set piece goals. Redmond is suffering there. With Guly and Osvaldo leaving in the summer, the squad will look light in attack, and an addition like Redmond could be a good bit of business.

I'm sure you'll all join me in wishing Jay all the best in his recovery from that nasty injury. It looked horrible when he went down, and was clearly distressed when he left the pitch. He's had an excellent season for Saints, and it would be horrible if he missed out on the chance to play at the World Cup. Let's hope the injury isn't as bad as first feared. Get well soon Jay.

Go on peeps, surely most people are having a little flutter today. Any tips? Otherwise what are you betting on? My big bet is on Burton Port, with a tiny extra bet on Our Father. However as Alfie Sherrin wasn't selected, my original bet, I have money in my account Ladbrokes account and am thinking of having a bet on another horse....

Sunderland fielded ineligible player against us at SMS

Moose on Talksport this morning said every team he played against should be given automatic 3-0 wins. I don't like him but I like his style! It'll stay as a fine and no more will be said. Weird that they're only announcing it now after being fined a few months ago... -
It's the same pose. Please let's use the same sculptor. Just for the lols, then we'll recognise Markus as he should be recognised.
