  1. Can scores for Liverpool. Lovren at the heart... Of the celebration.
  2. A good, typical cup game. Exeter were poor though, they should have capitalised on the fact the Warrington players could barely walk at the end. Portsmouth can now go into tomorrow's game aspiring to be Warrington Town.
  3. True, though of course it is easier to drop through the bottom of a division than it is to go through the top of it. Not that Saints have had that problem for a few years...
  4. Watching Warrington vs Exeter on the Beeb. Matt Oakley and Danny Butterfield are Exeter's centre backs. Random, can't say I've ever seen Oakley as a centre back.

    Van Gaal

He looks different at the weekends though.

    Van Gaal

Tortoises that look like Louis Van Gaal. http://www.thepoke.co.uk/2014/06/03/tortoises-that-look-like-louis-van-gaal/
  7. To give Skatesmouth one positive, they have a better chance of winning in the FA Cup first round this season than we do.
  8. Taking a leaf out of Liverpool's book? ;-)

    Van Gaal

I like Koeman's "Koemanisms", like "For the team", "That's football" and "Soushampton". He comes across as a likeable bloke. This is of course helped, in our eyes at least, by the good start - Saints fans may have viewed him differently if we were at the bottom of the table. A little bit of personality goes a long way too - something we didn't see much from Pochettino, but did in Adkins. Oh, I also like the way he delicately licks his lips before he answers a question, but that's a deep seated personal issue. Van Gaal comes across as strict, I've rarely seen him smile. Of course we view him differently to Koeman because he's not our manager. That's my view on things anyway. I'd love it if Koeman could finish higher than Van Gaal at the end of the season though.
  10. My late grandparents used to live in Bognor Regis. FACT. It's completely irrelevant of course, but I'm bored and haven't posted on this thread for a while.
  11. I heard he won the jackpot repeater on the fruity in there too.
  12. I must say, the FM predictions are very similar to what I would pick. Not sure whether it takes into account team or player form though. I may be wrong.
  13. Pessimist. ;-)
  14. I reckon it started life as an all red shirt that some bloke got REALLY excited over...
  15. Let's be creative with the red and white. Like Coventry were.
  16. I saw that. One outstanding game and stiff competition means he probably won't win it though. Aguero will probably get it, though Sakho did score in every game.
  17. Guadalajara are sponsored by Katie Price? ;-) I quite like that. Neat and functional and I'm assuming well made.
  18. Something like this, but with willies. For the women and the gheys.
  19. No thanks. His time with us has come and gone and he left us with great memories. I'd welcome him back in some capacity one day but not as a player, as I think we could sign better.
  20. Can't deny Liverpool have done OK defensively this game but Real still look dangerous. I'd like a Bale wonder goal and a Ronaldo penalty please. (From a Lallana foul on Marcelo.)
  21. Rodgers has bottled it with that line up. Accepted they didn't have a chance of winning so he's rested their 'best players' for the Chelsea game they'll lose anyway. Crazy. Real could get double figures tonight. And even if, by a miracle of God, they beat Real tonight, he's basically told the world his unfavoured players are better than his first choices. Lallana vs Real. That's what he signed up for! (No Dejan though. Shame.)
  22. I believe we've had a few "new" Michael Owens as Mark Paul was touted as such when he signed iirc.
  23. I would have put McQueen or Sims or Rowe or someone in there but didn't want to overuse the youth! Technically if everyone was fit then you would put JWP or Gallagher in there.
  24. Don't have a cow, man. I'm really milking these jokes.
  25. We pick up some stunning ex-City players though. Lucien Mettomo was a particular highlight.
