Will we stay up? Who knows, possibly, but we have to play well ALL the time and not screw up against the likes of QPR. Relegation would see us losing all our key players, and while the CHampionship isn't a bad league, I'd rather see us in the Premier League next season with Pochettino's reinforcements. Losing Ramirez wouldn't bother me too much, it'd be losing the likes of Lallana, Shaw, Lambert and Morgan that would really hurt. Getting us over the 30 point mark would be huge mentally, let's hope we can achieve that against Norwich. (More so because the game holds a personal meaning for me.)

Yesterday was an easy win chance gone by as a loss, but I still think, in spite of yesterday, we need 4 more wins to survive, possibly even only 3. It sounds easy but then we should have won yesterday tbf. QPR have some false hope now, at least I hope it's false hope - I'd hate to have given QPR the start of a winning run of fixtures that would get them out of it and make Redknapp a hero to everyone around the globe.

Poor result but thankfully it hasn't cost us too much, besides West Ham winning. We need to sort this out - relegation is a very real possibility, it has been all season, so let's get survival out of the way before we start looking at "10th place" as a recent thread had it. I said in the pre-match thread I was nervous about this game and so it proved. It will give us an almighty kick up the arse - but that's effectively one of our easiest games gone by with a defeat. Would I have taken a point before the game? No, the win was gettable. I'd have taken it on 80 minutes though! Still, I'd rather our position than QPR's...

It was Ramirez's goal. Incidentally I Google imaged Wet Fannies. I liked it.

I'll take a draw. HAH! Still plenty of time to get back into this (although ask again at 80 minutes if the scoreline is the same!) QPR will sit on this scoreline now.

Absolutely against the run of play. Was that Fox's fault? My stream is pants, but the camera was all over him after we conceded...

Realised you cannot beat the Don, apologised, and has played some of the best football of his career this season. Long may it continue.

Win this and we're as good as safe, lose this and we're as good as down. Well nobody is saying either, but surely we've never had an easier chance to pick up three points this season. We're playing well, I even thought we did well against Newcastle from what I saw despite losing, and in my mind we'll pick up the three points. That said though, we are Saints and we've all supported the club long enough to know we do things the hard way. Under Pochettino though, all selected eleven players should turn up and give good performances, and add to that any subs that could come on and make a difference and we should be fine. QPR fans are deluded enough to think they have a chance of survival. I'd take our position over their's, and our fixtures over theirs too. For them to stay up would take a miracle of monumental proportions that would beat any of our, or Wigan's, Premier League survivals. The chance of a double over them, and to be one of the clubs that knocks a nail into their coffin, would be sweet. Still nervous though.

Parsnips for me too, forgot them. But only roasted, the wife made me this parsnip pasta recently and I didn't like it. Oh, those gherkins in Maccy D's hamburgers. Used to be a picker, now I'm an eater.

I cant even remember the name of the ACE Center Back we signed recently
SNSUN replied to Miltonroader07's topic in The Saints
Was he English or foreign? Perhaps American, like your spelling of 'centre'... -
Poor player, thank God Shaw slipped into left back with consumate ease when he did. I've still seen enough under MP to think we'll survive but pray Shaw stays fit.
-
We have enough quality on the bench to turn this around. I still hope for a draw, but keep it tight - the only result that would suck is a heavy loss.

Newcastle look quite good when getting it forward...

QPR are surely down. Anyone hear the caller on TalkSport last night, saying they could easily win their next five games. The caller then got reminded they've won two games all season. Caller went on to say well they could at least get 9 points from those games. That still won't be good enough egghead. Deluded. Weirdly I met an attractive 19 year old QPR fan in Windsor last night. I didn't mention relegation once... (For the record I'm happily married and was a good boy.)
-
Looking at the two teams I think Newcastle could do us, but let's not get too deflated if that happens! A draw would be a good result IMO.

My missus loves word jumbles because she claims she's a "fact nut". Yeah, well I've got another anagram for that for her...

I don't have a forum friend, which causes me to punch my parrots repeatedly until they lisp when they squark. I did however meet Hatch once, and found him to be most likeable, especially as we quaffed alcohol copiously, as we intoxicated ourselves side by side in Windsor's 'finest' establishments. When you like everyone, it's very hard to have just one friend.

The biggest change for me is bell peppers. I used to hate them and now I'll have them whenever they're available. I'm also over my onion hatred - it's true, it does make food taste better, though I'm still not a fan of them raw. Also cauliflower, broccolli, chillies, curry (my parents used to buy me fish and chips when they had a curry), different types of fish (besides battered cod), coffee (I swear I'm addicted to it now) and dark chocolate. Of the ones I remember...

Keep them on topic! :-) The Skates saga thread you would need About seventy-three days to read Still it's worth going through If you haven't a clue Of this story of woe, lies and greed.

Nah it's just a silly meme. I'm not sure anyone truly knows what's going on!
-
Not currently but I reckon he'd love a change of scenery - would he play better with our players around him? Possibly. Still there's not many strikers good enough to play the lone strikers role, as Lambert is doing exceptionally.

Most important player signing of past 3.5 years?
SNSUN replied to Lallana's Left Peg's topic in The Saints
At what cost though? English players for some reason cost a lot more than foreign imports when clubs now Premier League clubs are interested - would we have taken the punt on Lambert had we been in the Premier League? Even if we did Rovers would have been looking for more than £1 million I reckon. If a Premier League club wanted Murray now, I'm sure Holloway would be looking for silly money for a goalscorer. Danny Graham has done OK in the Premier League for instance, but £3.5 million was a lot to pay for a player unproven at this level. Then we look at the likes of Liverpool's recent signings, Carroll and Henderson. Silly money. -
Games we should win (playing as we are and pending no injuries): QPR, West Ham, Norwich, West Brom, Stoke Games we could win: Newcastle, Swansea, Sunderland Games where points would be a bonus: Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham. All IMO of course - Possibly 18 points from that lot if we continue to play teams off the park a la both Manchester games.
