Great in League One, Good in the Championship, average in the Premier League. I love Lallana, I think he's a talented player, still fairly young and can get better, and he's done a lot for us in the lower leagues, but he's not shown much in the Prem so far to suggest he's a first choice creative midfielder. He's a great choice to have in the squad though - perhaps getting rid of the captaincy would help him.

Of course we'll never win the league - we're Southampton, notorious for shooting ourselves in the foot when things start going right! Seriously, before I read it already this thread, I immediately thought of the Man City argument - just a few years ago they were a nothing team fighting it out in the lower leagues. Anyone can win the league with the right financial backing. Sadly if anyone but the big six or seven won the league, it would most likely be deemed a freak occurence that would never happen again.

Oh absolutely, but she'd have to be securely tied up. The pros of having sex with the above woman possessed would be that you could do her doggy style and she could turn her head to look at you, she could spider walk down the stairs meaning she's extremely flexible in bed and you could have fun trying to out-do her with the bodily fluids eminating from each others' bodies. That, and she has big bewbs, possessed or not.

That's what I'd choose too. A CB that can play at right back comfortably (have we ever had one? Wayne Thomas perhaps), a striker and an attacking midfielder or winger. I'd actually say we could do without the extra CB/RB, but we definitely do need another attacking option, even if it's only the one and it's not a striker. (I do think we'll get more than one in though. Still a long time to go yet.

So is there any news on the imminent, or not so imminent, arrival of Mr Ever Banega to this fair football club? Oh sorry, wrong board. Erm, who has a bigger willy, Banega or Wanyama? I suppose because it means the next target will be AS big. Which is why now when we get linked to the, for want of a better word, "lesser" players, we feel slightly underwhelmed. Being linked to Damiao up front raises the media's eyebrows, and in turn influences the fans to do likewise. Personally I'm not concerned whether we sign a "name" up front or not, as long as he's been well researched and, most importantly, can come in, perform well and score goals.
