I just rented my first house ever, and handed over £2300 (which my missus still owes me a significant chunk of) I did a shop to stock the kitchen, costing £104. I put £3600 into a savings account, does that count? No? Well before that, I'd have to say getting my car fixed - £450 or there abouts. Damn head gasket.

For £5 million you could buy 500 million penny sweets and feed the starving children in Africa.

Because she is a bitter old woman! She is very opinionated and I no longer like her. It took my girlfriend all the will power she had to bite her tongue and not say anything. Friday - Signed the contract for my house. Cleaned it. Showed it to a disapproving mother. Bitter old woman. Saturday - Went to Ikea, kept the spending down. Went to Homebase with no result. Sunday - Work then took my sister to see new place. Approval and praise. But then she just wants a place to crash. Lounge now borderline liveable. 8/10.

I'm 28 next month too. Roll on the 11th. I refuse to make a list of things to do before I turn thirty, because I'm never turning 30. I will be 29 forever.

Today - Signing for my first ever house (SNSUN's growing up though it's only a rental) and then giving it a damn good clean. Saturday - More cleaning and start to move things in. Listen to Saints triumph. Sunday - Back to work after 3 weeks off. It's gone too quickly. :-(
