Jilly Anne :-) My middle name is plain old John. So boring in fact that I'm glad I paid my £5 and haven't wasted this post.
-
I had new year off, and would've spent it drinking. A colleague of mine wanted it instead of Christmas week. I swapped. I now have Christmas off, and will probably spend it drinking.

Well I'll be working, but if we win I shall make myself a cup of instant coffee without milk, and dip my balls into it while serving customers.
-
Well bugger me. Next you'll be telling me that Opal Fruits were never done away with either lol lol lol
-
No this was much more recent than that! Why do you have another story?
-
Y-You what? Snickers? Is this another of your jokes MB? Years of therapy, thousands upon thousands of pounds wasted, and all the time Marathons were wearing camouflage gear. :-(

I would bring back Marathon bars. They were my favourite chocolate bar when I was a child in the 80's, then for some reason they just did away with them. My life has been an empty void since then, forever hoping they would reappear...

Leave him out. It the little scrot doesn't want to play for us, then let him rot in the reserves. Yes, we need to get him off the wagebill, but I certainly wouldn't let him get anywhere near the first team.

2-1 Cardiff, but hopefully we'll play well enough in defeat to impress a few people.

Terrible reporting, which suprises me from Sky Sports. That article merely glances over us, concentrating on those that have installed well known managers and players over the summer, or have come into money. The reporter clearly knows nothing of Saints (and other clubs it appears) over this summer, and is basing his knowledge on last season's results. Tosh. Granted, I don't think we'll amaze everyone and fly towards the league title, but we've done far more than "very little" over the summer...

There's some good avatars here: http://www.spacespider.net/avatars-animal-80x80-001.php And they're all 80x80.

That is an "earth cow" joke.

I have a sneaking feeling Derby will be in the top six or even in the top two. I've been quite impressed by their signings this summer and think they could get promoted.

I have to celebrate 2000 posts all over again. It's like freaking de ja vu.

That is a serious amount of jism...

On my own, on a beach somewhere hot, ice cold alcoholic beverages brought to me, and a luxury air conditioned apartment with crisp clean sheets on the bed. Still, it'll never happen because I have to drag the missus around everywhere with me.

I'm Green Flag, and I've never had a problem with them every time I've used them. They even pick you up from your house (or whereever you are) the day after the breakdown (if it's after garages closing) and take you to the garage of your choice. Mind you, my dad pays for mine (he agreed to so long as I let him be a named driver on my insurance), and I think we have sort of special premium dealy.

I'd give him the whole right fist if I were you. Back in my younger, more naive days, and boy was I naive, a bloke knocked on my front door and inquired as to whether the Citroen AX, that had been my car and was sitting on the drive for ages, was for sale. I said that actually I didn't want it anymore and it was taking up half the driveway, so I let him have it. He claimed he "did AX's up". I should've worried when tax and MOTless and with the handbrake sticking, he backed it off the drive and drove off with it. Two days later I got a phone call from Surrey police, saying that the shell of my car (as the paperwork hadn't gone through yet) had been dumped on the side of the road in Guildford or some place and had the engine missing, and that as it was my car I was in charge of moving it or being fined! Thankfully after explaining the predicament to the officer, he agreed that as I didn't live nearby he'd scrap the car for me. A lot of hassle for me being stupid really. My mum was sad though, because that had been the family car before it was solely mine...

I'm with Admiral, and they do a 10 month scheme which is good for first time buyers. For each ten months, you get a year's no claims bonus, so you'd have 3 years no claims bonus in just 2 and a half years. (Assuming of course that you don't claim...)

Cardiff 2 - Saints 1 :-(

I hope somebody got a photo of it...
