Won PL goal of the season http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-5747645/Boufal-wins-goal-season-does-compare-previous-years.html

Find it "funny" how Everton went about it, what with asking the fans what they thought. As soon as they did that it was obvious that Sam was a gone.
-
I'd rather have Harrison Reid playing than Clasie.
-
I fear that it might be seen as being a little too flippant.
-
Read that Clasie wants to come back to Saints!! I am sure that Bobby Reid will be in the PL next season.

Why is our Academy not producing Premier League Players
angelman replied to John B's topic in The Saints
Does any PL team bring players through their academies to the 1st team squad? The risk of playing a weaker player, when you can go out and buy a ready made player, means academies are less and less relevant. I would like to see the rules changed....note the 8 home grown players in a 25 man squad. Much stronger than that. Almost that 2 academy players have to be in the starting 11 each game. I know that that is fantasy stuff, but I hate the way teams (inc us) just see the solution being to spend, rather than to coach and develop. It doesn't help English football. -
What are we buying into - what is the plan for the club? Are "we" going to be content to make up the numbers and hope to hang around bottom-mid table, collecting that TV money cheque? The last 2 seasons have been diabolical, are we going to have another season like it? If so, I'd rather give my money to a charity. The owner still seems to be AWOL - hasn't mentioned anything about the future nor the recent past (avoiding relegation). We are getting his daughter to be the head, but we haven't heard jack **** from her either. I suspect that the rubbish we have endured for the past 2 seasons will put many off, and it would seem good business sense if the owner participated in some leadership and gave some direction to the club. But hey, if he can't be arsed...... His CV never really instilled a lot of confidence, nor have his (in)actions since taking over.

Could Mahrez leave LCFC and be replaced by Boufal?
-
I'm afraid to say, while it shouldn't, this constant bigging up of certain clubs, and players from those clubs, has just made football really boring (in my eyes). I look at certain reviews of the season and hopes for next, and most commentators are hoping for more than a 1 horse race. What they mean is the Big 6 being closer together rather than hoping that all 20 teams are being in with a chance.

Funny old thing.....Salah's goal, which is winning the BBC poll isn't even featured here.....http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11661/11371793/watch-vote-premier-league-goal-of-the-season

Potter going to Swansea isn't he? Or is everyone going to call for Marco Silva, after all, he has a stunning record.
-
OK he got a point a game. WHU was his sighter and after got us playing better. Sure we lost vs 3 big boys (bad against Chelsea). So you don't want him. Fine. Who would you like? Someone from the Championship or an unheard of manager from Ligue 1 or La Liga? Hughes has 6,7,8,9,9,9 finishes with clubs no bigger than us.
-
One thing no one seems to have mentioned is training and fitness. The players mentioned it when Hughes took over. A manager/coach needs players to be as least as fit as the opponents.
-
I thought it was £4m, but yes, we paid. It's the fee for Gazza that stumps me. £2.5m. Initially always thought it was £250k.
-
Forgot that after the Chelsea game we were 5 points from safety with 5 games to go. We had a lucky escape in that other teams were even worse than us.
-
I'm not sure anyone deserves player of the season.
-
Hughes has finished 6th, 7th and 8th.
-
You're very lucky.

What if Swansea make up 9-point goal difference?
angelman replied to Singapore Saint's topic in The Saints
72 goals in the second half!!!! Somewhat unsubtle I think you might say. -
Fair does to Huddersfield. They needed a couple of points from their last 3 tough games and they've done it.
-
With Hazard, anything is possible.
-
Come on Chelsea

Isn't it a f*** you to the owners?

Some might even want to be wearing red and white stripes in the PL next season. As for Durham, I put him just slightly being more bearable to listen to than James O'Brien, but that really isn't saying much. O'Brien is a **** 100% of the time. Durham about 90% of the time.
