Never booed any player in a Saints shirt, and not likely to start now regardless of how much of a tool he has been.

Because of club's holding player registrations, which managers do not have.

My Sky Go is utter rubbish, so have gone on to a stream. Is Hoedt the one in white boots?

Frankly, I couldn't really care what he does or doesn't want. He has behaved like a total ****, and still does. Even if he wanted to force a move, you do what you are paid for until you get that move so should have been playing. Behaving like a **** hasn't endeared himself to me, and I like the way the club has acted, even if some consider it cutting our nose off to spite our face. If he doesn't play again for us, so be it. We showed we had some balls and weren't going to be shafted by Wasserman and Liverpool, both whose actions leave a fair bit to be desired. If he does come back, I will be exceedingly disappointed if he get's the captain's armband.

Boufal last season..... League games...squad 24 times. Starting eleven 12 times, subbed in 12 times. Total of 1,101 minutes giving an average of about 45 minutes. Only did 2 games for the full 90 minutes.

CAn't face a film as been driving for 7 hours today. Made the 1st half go quickly though, as I slept through most of it. See NI have had 24 shots with 4 on target. Wonder how many of those are Davis's?

God this is dire. I'm watching Master Chef instead. Can't be any worse!!

we achieved the same as Leicester, Arsenal, Liverpool, West Ham and Ross Barkley. Barkley being a little different, obviously being a player rather than a club, but he refused to be pushed out by his employer and seems to have stuck to his contract terms and stayed at Everton rather than be forced to go to Chelsea over his preference of Spurs, just because Chelsea would stump up the ridiculous fee. Mahrez, Sanhez, Coutinho, Sakho and vD are all being kept to their contracts by their clubs, although Coutinho still has today to go to Barca.

http://www.skysports.com/football/news/15205/11014124/paul-mersons-transfer-window-grades-positives-for-man-city-man-utd-but-not-arsenal Typical journo just looks at vD and judges our whole window on that.

Would be funny if Barca came in tomorrow for Coutinho

behave!! They aren't impressed by FSG as they think that they should have been able to squash us.
-
love MLT's twittering. Scousers being very poor "losers".
-
Clever of Arsenal to either hijack the signing or (probably/possibly) upping the amount that Liverpool will have to pay.

This Ben Phillips chap who said £8-10m for Ox, is now saying that Vietto agreed bar personal terms

Quim really should be given the elbow. Worst presenter on that show by far, even before taking into account his lack of objectivity.

I guess it is semantics really. But whichever way you look at it, those advocating vD move, Liverpool, his agent and many others are just treating SFC as if they have reached their limit and that it is impossible for a club of our size to go any further and that it is only the Big 6 + maybe Everton (who I suspect will finish above Arsenal unless something extraordinary happens today) that can ever finish at the top. That may well be the case, but few seem to question the whole competition if that is the case. They seem to reassure themselves that it is all good, because we have 6 or 7 clubs at the top, unlike so many other leagues like Spain, Germany, France and Italy.
-
Is it? I thought that the main argument for not selling was to keep a supposedly world class player playing for SFC and improving the team. Secondary to that is what you put as the primary reason.
-
Ah but this war of attrition is just what the agent wants. I tend to agree, but then I have an over riding desire to say "**** off" to the Scousers. However if it was £85-90m, then, well, maybe.
-
Why are you presuming that it is a fait accompli?

Josh King?

why on earth would he go to Bournemouth to meet a plane? As you say, there is Farnborough as well as Blackbushe. Private jets come to where you are, you don't go to catch them where they are.
-
And that's the crux of the problem MrF. While you might not go as far as Benji's "not even for £200m", which was a figurative sum, what would you accept? As I say, I am in the club's camp (so far) on this, and I suspect that they have a sum in mind as well. SKD is not at any price, which I understand and my heart wholly agrees with. As a supporter, the finances aren't of primary importance, although they are of course linked with the desire to bring in good players. But as a realist the head also has a voice so high 80s-90 would be OK with me. Of course the preference would be to tell LFC to go **** themselves, but it is a business. But then you have to factor in him getting his own way and what it would mean for the future. Rock & hard place.

Agree Glasgow had a certain je ne sais quoi. Heisenberg is just a knob.

How quick is he? Or rather how slow? You seem to be rather an expert on the fella, so what can we expect? Fonte like pace?

Regardless of the amount?
